Play of Consciousness: A Spiritual Autobiography

Its a biography, so I can't really criticise the guy. However, he keeps talking about his experiences in meditation, and tells us how great they are, so to speak. However, I see no real wisdom in his words.Sorry, but i want to be honest about my take on this. I read the book from cover to cover out of respect.For a seeker of wisdom or spiritual life, I suppose its worth reading, but I always thought he would have said a lot more by talking about "him" rather than endless descriptions of his subjective experiences and preaching his chosen path.God Bless Him

This book has become another of my favorite books ever. Words cannot express what I received from reading this book. It deepened my appreciation of my own Guru and revealed to me a level of understanding that I had not previously been able to embrace...This book has inspired me in so many ways, and again, I just don't have the words to fully convey how powerful this book is.

Amazing, beyond words.

This book is a one of the few "must reads" for almost anyone who enjoys eastern spiritual thought and the upliftment of consciousness.This is a unique personal autobiography by Paramahansa Muktananda.This book does not deal with the mundane details of Swami Muktananda's life nor does it deal much with the details of his teacher Swami Nityananda's life; more of that sort of thing can be found in "Meditation Revolution" by Douglas Renfrew Brooks, or by Muktananda's earliest biographer Swami Prajnanananda.What this book does do is to transmit some of Paramahansa Muktananda's consciousness to the reader in a unique way, giving the reader some direct experience of Muktananda's life and his Awareness.

It is not a book but an initiation. Its must have copy for every sidha path student and aspirants of spirituality. It takes you into meditative state as you read it and i recommend you read 2 chapters a day and mediate after that.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. So true, the God is everywhere and in everything. Feeling of non duality is the key to every success on spiritual path, the challenge is to follow it genuinely, the one who does, grows.
