I'm very pleased with this light. It replaced a bulky, multi-light fixture that was in my condo when I bought it. This new light brings a welcome modern vibe without sacrificing any brightness. I think that this fixture is unusual in that it supports three 150w bulbs for a maximum of 450w. That is a lot of light! It is on a dimmer and I am super happy that I can have low, intimate light at the dinner table and massive, bright light when my friends and I play cards.My electrician and I didn't have any issues getting the glass diffuser level. Installation was pretty straightforward. It definitely benefits from having an extra pair of hands to support the diffuser while the bolt and washer are tightened.For heavens sake, install the light bulbs from above! It's super easy if your ladder/step stool is high enough. DO NOT remove the diffuser to install bulbs: absolutely not necessary or recommended.

It arrived well packaged by the manufacturer. There were several flaws in the drum shade, and a quick call to the seller resolved that issue. A new shade arrived 3 working days later. This semi-flush mount fixture is perfect in the eating area of my kitchen and provides lots of light. It's a large, beautiful, very clean looking fixture. I did not want a hanging fixture screaming, "put a table under me." It was hung from my 9-feet high ceiling using the shortest of the four rods that came with it, which provide several hanging options. I am using incandescent bulbs in it right now and had it installed on a dimmer that is also LED compatible. I am looking for LEDs in the 4000K warmth range. I took my time looking for this fixture and could not be happier with it!

The box was crushed in shipping, damaging the shade. Amazon arranged for Kirchner to ship a replacement shade. Great customer service! Easy to install. I had an issue with the glass diffuser being level that other reviewers have noted. I gently bent the spokes of the shade, which leveled and centered the glass diffuser. I am very happy with this light fixture.

Unit had shattered lens inside box. Looks great, but arrived damaged.

The fixture was not very substantial. The return process is ridiculous. They have e ot in their possession but I have to wait 30 days for the refund. I do not recommend buying from this vendor.

This is a very nice light. It looks nice and provides a great deal of light. On a dimmer it can provide a little fill to fully illuminate a medium sized room. The installation was a little tricky due to the size (diameter) of the light and maneuvering around it to make connections.

We wanted a new look in our open floor condo's dining area, but because of the HVAC ductwork, the outlet wasn't centered over where our dining room table would be located. Using the shortest stem provided with this fixture allowed us to create a semi-flush appearance minimizing the "off-centered" look a longer stem might have created. We had the fixture professionally installed so I can offer no rating on the ease of assembly or installation, but we have the fixture on a dimmable switch and find it easily bright enough to cover the entire space even without it being at the brightest setting. This fixture offered us an attractive update from the twenty+ year-old frosted glass inverted bell pendant we replaced. Next...those ceiling fans!

This is a beautiful modern design pendant lamp with the timeless brushed nickel finish, it looks wonderful in my 100 year old dining room. The white shade and diffuser gives the light brilliance a nice soft bright white tone. It can be used with three 100 watt bulbs max. so, having it on a dimmer switch is perfect for a lot a ranges of light tones. My husband was able to install it with minimal help and the length of the lamp length from the ceiling was variable from 4" to 32" . We hung it closer to the ceiling which gave it the clean modern look we wanted. Loving the quality and look for a long time because it works well with the antique wood work in our house.
