This clock - that I purchased 2+ years ago, started to fade, then it slowed. When I tried to update the exact time, it started blinking. I thought "oh no!" but then I had a little faith and changed the 2 AAA batteries. Works perfectly again!One of the best features is the seconds count. I used this when doing workouts like planks.I have 3 of these all around the house. Easy to see, and now I know it lasts too.

A few years ago I bought one of these units, but it came flimsily packaged then and was damaged on one corner (it was only packaged in a bubble-wrap bag).However as I liked the unit's clear display and general design, and the reasonable price, decided to order another one for my new place, and this time it did come adequately packaged (in bubble wrap but inside good quality cardboard box) and arrived in perfect shape, despite reshipping (I order for delivery to a reshipment company which then reships to me in Europe; so there are two delivery events).These clocks have clear displays and the thermometer appears accurate when compared to two others in my home (one digital and one old-fashioned alcohol thermometer). Adjustment is easy. Has support for wall hanging (needs two nails or similar as there's two holes in the back), but am using it on the built-in stand on the table. Overall highly recommended!

I do like this clock the only down fall I find is the way the date is displayed. It took me a while to realize that the day is displayed first followed by month and year. I am so used to being month then date followed by year. Otherwise clock is accurate along with the temperature. Aside from the date being displayed differently I am please with the clock.

My boys use it to tell when they go to the bus, gives them a little more autonomy and self-reliance. They use it at night to know when it’s time for shower and bed, weekends to know if they’re allowed to come out and get mom or if it’s still time to be in bed (6:15am is not a wake up time 😂). It even helps them with knowing what day of the week it is so they aren’t trying to get ready for school on weekends. Win for a kindergartener and first grader (hate all you want for the age we push them to be independent, but I guarantee they can do more than most kids their age because of it! Most mornings they’re up and ready for school themselves by the time my alarm to get them ready 😉. All I have to do is tie shoes, make sure they’ve got everything for school, breakfast if they don’t want it at school, and they watch the clock to wait for the time they’re allowed to go out to the bus stop)

I bought 6 of these clocks to cover places where we had wall phones and they look great. I think they look better than other wall clocks I looked at that cost nearly 3 times as much. The European format date ( day first followed by month) may cause some people some concern but you seldom look at a clock to determine the date and even when you do SURELY you know what month it is! The LCD is very bright in ambient light but totally dark when there is no light. That's an advantage in battery life and in bedrooms where the large LCD would be too bright if illuminated but COULD be a disadvantage in some situations so you may need a different clock if you need illumination.ADDED 11/26/2021: I have had these clocks over 2 years and all 6 are still working perfectly. Some other reviewers have not been as fortunate but not many. But based on even the few I have read I decided at this price I would buy a couple of spares just in case. I haven't seen anything as good at 3 times the price. Needless to say I am very happy how well they covered the wall phone phone boxes!Update over 4 years later: All 6 are still working great! I am still very happy with this purchase and just bought one as a spare in case one ever fails. Battery life for me has been over a year. Other reviewers have said 6 months so I suspect they started with weak batteries. As the battery wears out the display gets a little weaker but is still very readable so they would probably last much longer than a year but I replace them when I notice a difference in contrast.Also many reviewers comment about the European date format (day before month). Sure, the US format would be better but can it really confuse anyone? How many times do you NOT know what month it is?

Took me awhile to figure out why I couldn’t get the Numbered day of the month to the name day of the month, was always off. Come to find out, the clock is labeled month, then date, but is programmed Date then month…. Not the end of the world to me, but got this to help explain time and days to my 5 year old. So will be returning this one to try something else.

This is a crappy clock that gains minutes. I found that out too late to return it.
