Only the key fob works! The key will not program for 2008 and above for sure. Didn't work for 08 chevy silverado z71

The key was useless to us - I tried several and no store would cut it because it was not purchased from them. They said the metal would ruin their machines. The remote worked perfectly though and was easy to program. So it still feels like a deal considering how expensive the remotes are in stores here.

This was ordered for our '09 Saturn Vue because Amazon said it was a fit for it. IT DID NOT. Apparently there were two styles used for the saturn vues made in '09. So check yours against the product photo.Also, there was no, none, nada, zero instructions included on how to program the fob. I was really annoyed by this, however instructions were easily found and programing it to the car was surprisingly quick and straightforward.

Recently bought a 2009 gmc sierra 1500. Seller could only find one set of keys with remote. GMC dealer wanted $122 for remote and $44 for a key. Programming was going to be another $40 each. Took a chance and bought this set. Programming was a breeze following the instructions. Took about 1 minute to do both the key and the remote. The biggest trouble I had was getting someone to cut the blank key. Tried Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart. None of them could do it because they needed some cutting module for their HI tech key machines. Took blank down to my local hardware store with the old style key cutter. Took the clerk about 2 minutes to cut the key, I am fortunate to live in a small town and they did not even charge me to do it.( I do shop there locally) Key starts the truck, and remote works fine. Will update review if I have any issues later on.

Could not do on board programing with my 2013 silverado 1500. Took it to a locksmith.

Even though the website claims that this works with a Chevy Captiva Sport, it DOES NOT. I bought this and since it has to go to a locksmith to program, it took me a few weeks to get to it. The day I was going to go get it done I took a closer look at the key blank, and it was obvious that it is not the correct key for my 2014 Captiva Sport. Fortunately, Amazon's AWESOME customer service allowed me to return it for refund despite it being past the deadline for return!

1 thing I dislike & can't say for sure it is because of the remote but only the drivers door will unlock when I hit the unlock tab but will lock both doors when I hit the lock tab????

Was shipped the wrong remote, but the seller shipped me the correct one free of charge after finding out that the return shipping would cost me just as much as buying another remote.
