Mistakes were made.
1) While the bathroom mixer has its bottom way smaller than ordinary sink, the water was leaking into that whole.2) It's British. Meaning the length of this mixer is 1cm (whatever feet it is). [P.s. in reality it is 8.5 cm length]3) Had to get a new mixer due to the issue in 1)4) Up till now struggle with water plug.I wish I never bought this.

Could be better
You can tell that this is a cheap tap - it's OK but it's not that well made and I would spend more next time. Having said that, it has lasted over a year without any problem so far so is functional. The pop up waste with the coloured top is a bit of a gimmik - I'd recommend a normal chrome one which is easier to clean
