Good for annotating in books

I was concerned when ordering these as the tip isn’t the standard highlighter chisel tip, but I absolutely love these. I don’t have to consider the orientation of the pen when highlighting.The colors are great and more translucent/transparent than standard highlighters.

Perfect highlighters for reading.I'm a book lover and before knowing about these markers I avoided highlighting my books because of the horrible and unpleasant colors from neon highlighters.The books end up looking like an acid trip and just totally ruin the whole book and my eyes.Now I look forward in using these highlighters to gently mark parts of the book that I liked and keep the book and text looking beautiful and gentle to the eyes.These pastel highlighters have the perfect amount of color intensity to highlight the text without interfering with its readability and pleasantness.It feels more like you are enhancing, painting and adorning the beautiful, meaningful and interesting words and ideas in your book.

These are not exactly pastel, and the highlight of many of the colors is pretty strong. But it’s a really nice marker and I love the textsurfer model.

Overall I love these pens! I did buy with the intention of using them as highlighters, and this works with most of them. The black pen however is definitely too dark to use for this purpose, and is essentially a standard black marker. The tips are also pretty thin, so to highlight effectively you do have to angle the tip to the side, which I can see wearing down pretty quickly. The colors are gorgeous though and I’d definitely purchase again!

These are the BEST EVER highlighters I've ever used. They don't obscure the text or seep through to the other side of the page. GOOD for THIN PAPER in Bible, too. They don't seep through, although as the paper is thin, a slight bit of color does show through here and there.

Adding a new favorite to my collection! I love staedtler’s pens, and I was so excited to add the highlighters to my collection! Firstly, the pastel colors are cute and unique. They’re comfortable to hold, and write smoothly. You can adjust the thickness of the lines by adjusting the angle as you highlight. They add the perfect pop to my journal and notes.

Sto usando questi evidenziatori da due anni abbondanti. Si sono rivelati ottimi, di qualità e soprattutto poco ingombranti e con una bella gamma di colori. Cercavo un evidenziatore sottile da portare con me in viaggio e che potesse soddisfare tutte le necessità del caso. Purtroppo non uso molto il nero, che in teoria non è un evidenziatore ma servirebbe a coprire le parole che si vogliono nascondere di un testo da fotocopiare.Molto molto comodi!
