The colors are vibrant. And the zipper mechanism is the best I've found on a zipper tie. It works very well! On many, there is no zipper pull. On others, the zipper pull is simply for show; it dangles and does not really lock the tie in place. As the day wears on, those ties slip, slide, and start to hang from your neck requiring constant readjusting to make it look like a freshly knotted tie.My only complaint is the width of the tie. It's about 2 3/4." If these ties were just a bit wider--3.5"--I would buy a dozen. As it currently stands, I'll keep the one I have and use it now and then. It's just too narrow for daily use.

I purchased this for a part-time job that required the use of a tie. I have worked in positions that required a professional appearance and to be honest, I never really nailed a perfect knot. Another issue I had was how uncomfortable ties could be. I originally looked up clip on ties, but who was I fooling, I would get called out for it on day one.I had my drawer full of ties, and I had this coming in the mail.After many lopsided knots, this arrived. It goes around the collar and looks like a regular tie (Nobody will know!). It's easily adjusted, and so comfortable that you hardly remember you have a tie on. The fabric is of pretty good quality, and it doesn't wrinkle. For those with large Adam's Apples, this will be perfect for you.

Excellent tie. I resisted buying it just because I've never used anything similar. It works really easily. Don't think of it as a traditional zipper where both parts push together. In this the zipper moves freely so the tie easily adjusts then when you push the locking tab down it holds in place. I have many "real" ties that like to loosen and slide around. This tie is going to stay put and look it's best without the need for constant adjustment. Now I just have to find more that I like. I purchased the red on with grey stripes because it's classy.

It took a while to find out how to use it but you simply tug at the zipper. You are not supposed to unzip the whole thing. As you tug at it, the knot that goes around your neck is supposed to loosen up so you can pull each side evenly. It takes a bit of time to figure it out but it just appears difficult because of the locked in zipper.

Had never hear of a "Zipper Tie", but my son was getting married, and I had to were a suit. Gee, I wish I had it years ago. I liked it, my boys liked it, and anyone I showed it to liked it also I really found it hard to tie my regular tie since I broke broke both wrist in separate ice storms. Yousaved my day! Thanks!

I works but a simple written explanation would be welcome. Once I figured out that you just pull on the neck string, it worked. At first, I thought you somehow open the zipper. By the time you string the neck strap under your collar, you might as well just tie a regular tie. A simple, quality snap on would work for some occasions.
