Look REALLY cheap

good product for goofs. covers slightly enlarged openings. Blends well with light surround. no one will notice the ring & now the damage is covered.-Stacks with your light. so slightly thicker base and maybe not be as air tight(that's not the products fault)you need to 'center' the circle ring when resting in place. not a big deal.the inner recess is likely for a 5" light because it does nothing for a 6". a 6" light's lip will overlap some.I really wish these were wider. Covers 1/4 to 1/2" more edge on most 6" bases. I thought my 6" light would rest in that little recessed lip, it does not (like I said, thats probably for a 5" light ?)These are 6"ID & 8" OD. so the band is 1". 6" recess lights always have a 6" barrel, then the outer folded lip (which varies by manufactuer upto 3/4")some reviews say the white is a different shade than the owner's light surround. They were on mine, but it's so very slight that your nitpicking. ..who would notice staring at the ceiling. It's slightly textered(ABS? plastic) so paint with your ceiling paint in advance if you want to match your ceiling perfectly.- product can improve(or offer an alternate version) by being more flat &/or w/o the inner recessed lip. ABut mostly by being slightly wider to cover peoples bad work/damage. I have an old house where the openings weren't cut perfect & have chipped a bit. This did a pretty good job for super cheap & an easy way to hide that damage. ....they dont look like a band-aid.See my actual pics.

Perfect fit for my 6 inch ceiling pot lights, love the black glossy finish. Arrived on time and took literally just a few minutes to install. Sits nicely on the baffle. Turned out to be cheaper than a similar, but inferior product in Canada even with the currency exchange and import fees.

Fits pretty well. Satisfied.

Arrived quickly I would say. Fit my 6" LED's just fine. It covers the rough area that my 6" incan trims which actually were closer to 7 3/4" just fine. They don't seem to be as white as my LED trims, but maybe it's just the difference between gloss and non gloss, here are my LED replacements ("http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JUNY2D4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1").But ya they work well, will hide anything that should be hidden and after a few paint jobs in this house there is some ugly gray, dirt grime that had to be covered and for the price these can't be beat!! I'll be using them in about 6 more spots :). Wife is starting to give me the weird eye as I make the entire house daylight!!

I converted 3 recessed lighting that were incandescent to LED replacement light source. LED unit was for a 6" recessed can but my cans were 7". The LED trim didn't quite cover the sloppily cut 7" ceiling hole. These trim rings covered the hole. White color wasn't a perfect match to the LED white trim, but close enough! Packaging, delivery, and product was very good - no issues.

Great product at a great price.

So this ring - its not really "oversized". If you're getting it because you cut your hole a bit off or slightly in the wrong location and need to cover your cutting error or a bit of the incorrect cut . . . don't. It's not oversized in that manner. Its more like the normal size ring for a 6 inch hole. Maybe I shouldn't have bought lighting parts from a company called "Jet Ski Parts & JSP Manufacturing".Also - and I get its outside the normal limit - but I tried to return the part today - 36 days after the purchase date. Jet Ski Parts refused the return because it was 6 days past the 30 day policy. I mean come on, if it was a couple months, or several months, but 6 days? Really, what are they out? Throw it back on the shelf next to an intake water pump or kill switch and wait for the next buyer to come along. I'd keep shopping.

They were exactly as advertised and fitted great
