Good mouse with a few issues
Overall this is a pretty solid mouse but there are a couple of areas that it is lacking. #1: I have yet to be able to find a way to program the side buttons as a mousebutton1, mousebutton2, mousebutton3, mousebutton4, mousebutton5, etc. instead of the default keyboard 1-9. Essentially, as far as I can tell, the side buttons are just a shortcut for your numbers instead of their own independent buttons. #2: This is far more minor but for some reason I can't get the leds on top of the mouse to stop flashing. If anyone has figured a way around these issues please let me know.

High value mouse
This mouse reminded me of the Razer Naga Pro at first. Naga has 20k dpi and 650 IPS I believe. Unfortunately, the price for Naga is also significantly higher. This mouse uses PMW3360 optical sensor. The same sensor used by Logitech before they developed their own HERO sensor. This mouse is at 12K dpi and 250 ips. To me, it really doesn’t make a lot of difference between Razer and Pictek. Higher specs on paper often don’t translate to realistic performance improvement. That’s a huge plus for Pictek IMO. Though not as satisfying as a Logitech, Pictek also has a really good click. No complaints. The claw grip ergonomic was surprisingly good. The software was fairly straightforward and programmable buttons work like they should. You can switch from FPS to MMO easily although I have to admit I have not switch around the side plates that much. If you are really into backlighting, this mouse is for you. I think it has some 16 million customize color options. Not bad if you are into that. Braided cable was nice. I’ve only had this mouse for a week, but I can’t seem to find any major fault with it. Pictek did a really great job with this one.

Fantastic Mouse
I really enjoy the provided software and customization of the mouse's various buttons and lighting features. Everything works as it should.I am used to an oldschool Logitech G9x that this mouse is (possibly) replacing. It works well, love the braided cable. If I had to complain about anything at all is how easy it is to accidentally right-click. However that may just be my problem, using a 10 year old mouse with different ergonomics.Note: Rather than use the CD, unless it's your only option, download the software right from their website. Windows throws a flag but I doubt there's anything fishy.I have tried another mouse from the same company, and had some issues with it. The customer service was great and allowed me to try this model out instead.
