The color is true to the photo and it looks so cute on top of my oven. I do recommend this product to others because it works perfectly. It is easy yo clean and does not have any signs of discoloration due to constant heating. The whistling sound was a little strange compared to my old kettle, however it has become cute to me as I have gotten used to it. I also love that the handle does not overheat at the kettle does. I recommend this product to others. Do not fear purchasing this product, it is great quality.

I love this kettle. It's pretty, it's cute but best of all, it functions great! I like that it has a low hum instead of an obnoxious high pitched whistle. I like that you can keep the spout open in case you don't want to hear the hum (or if you have a baby taking a nap lol), It is very sturdy and easy to clean. This would make a great wedding, birthday, anniversary gift.

The media could not be loaded.  I just got my tea kettle in the mail today, and was so anxious to try it out to hear the “harmonic hum!” I washed it and examined it, and it seems well-made and sturdy, and I love the color (kind of mustard rather than lemon though). I was so tickled after it came to a boil, that I turned it off and got my phone so I could take a video to post here. I am very happy with it and would recommend to others, but if I have any issues with it in the future as I use it more, I will update this post.

I bought this kettle in turquoise, and the color looks great in my kitchen. I also like that it's bigger than some of the premium kettles that have the same lovely harmonica whistle. The water has to boil for a bit before the whistle kicks in, but it works fine. The handle does not get too hot to hold for pouring, so I don't need a potholder (which was why I didn't get the one of the all stainless steel ones like Chantal that are also more expensive). My only problem is that the way the holes are positioned on the whistle, it is hard to push it back for pouring without burning your fingers. Turn off the heat and wait for the water to stop boiling first, and then you can do the whole pouring thing without needing a potholder.I had bought the same kettle on eBay and got a defective one, with a non-functioning whistle and a too-loose lid and handle, so I do know what other reviewers mean when they complain about these problems. But the one I bought here works fine and looks great!

The product description states that the teapot has a melodic hum. I should have known not to get this teapot because teapots are supposed to whistle. However, I thought that this would be a good replacement for a much more expensive teapot. Indeed, it does everything it should. I'm giving it 5 stars because of the startle effect. After the first use, I knew it would be good for some comic relief. In that department, it did not disappoint. The first time I fiance heard the teapot, he immediately jumped up to investigate what was wrong. Why was my house making a sound like an air raid siren? Did he need to swoop me off to a shelter? When he saw me giggling hysterically, he realized that he did not have to shift into Superman mode and save me. When my kids got home after a weekend away, I again got to see the reaction to the teapot in action. I started my water and waited. Again, the teapot did not disappoint. It started making the eerie noise that indicated that we should Duck and Cover. My confused kids started looking around trying to discern what this warning sound meant and how to take action. Again, I laughed hysterically. We read the instructions and discovered that you can adjust the teapot to change the noise. Excuse me, they call it a melodic hum. My son is dying to adjust the teapot. However, I feel that due to all of the comic relief it has provided, the teapot should continue to wail its warning when the water is hot. I did give this teapot five stars for giftable because of the comic relief that it provides. That said, one should be sensitive if they are going to give the teapot as a gift. It probably shouldn't be given to someone with PTSD. If someone lives in an apartment building with neighbors that may have PTSD, you might consider a different teapot as a gift. However, this teapot is perfect for a person like me that enjoys watching the ensuing confusion and indecisiveness about what to do when the teapot emits that eerie noise that is used to indicate that something bad is about to happen in just about every war movie.

First off, I have to say that the tea kettle is very cute. The yellow color is exactly what's seen in the picture, and the shape is very nice. Unfortunately, the enamel was already bubbled in a couple places, it flaked off more when the stiff handle was turned, and the lid was very hard to put on. The spout looked fine, but for some reason didn't whistle, which was disappointing since I was interested in hearing the whistle mentioned in the other reviews. It sounded intriguing!The lack of whistle was the last step for me, so I returned it. It could have just been the model I got, but I'm looking for another tea kettle instead of getting a replacement of the same kind.

I love this teapot, its a perfect pink for my kitchen. I have already ordered 11 of them, can you believe it! I keep forgeting they are on the stove and have melted 10 of them, horrible but its not the teapot's fault. When used properly they wash beautifully, have a nice soft whistle and most of all come in great colors,especially that pink--you can't go wrong unless you don't put the whistle down on the spout and leave the kitchen and forget its on the stove.

Purchased this teakettle in the summer. Our kitchen is always hot in summer so we use the microwave to heat up water, but enjoy the heat our stove produces in winter while boiling water. This teakettle was supposed to announce when the water was ready for tea or pour over coffee by whistling, but it didn't, no matter how we adjusted the screw under the lid of the spout! Would have sent it back had we tried it in the summer!. Gave it 3 stars since it does boil water and the color is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and hard to find. Only giftable if the giftee doesn't want to be alerted when the water boils!

Me gustó mucho, esta presiosa y tiene muy buen tamaño aun no me acostumbro a su silbido porque es diferente al de otras pero creo que es cuestión de acostumbrarse.
