Easy to use, inexpensive enough to use every year
This kit tests for occult blood, not for DNA evidence as Cologuard does. But Cologuard is quite expensive and requires a prescription, which you can only get every three years. My doctor said a good plan is to use Cologuard every 3 years and an occult blood detector in all the other years. This test kit is easy to use, and you get your results in a few minutes at home. You can then take a photo of the completed test panel (looks like a Covid test panel) to show your physician.

Keep the paper dry
I think this will be a wonderful product; however due to my inability to follow instructions I couldn't get it to work. Ladies....it says not to let urine get on the paper used to collect sample. If you're like me, that's almost impossible. I suggest placing part of a pad to collect the urine without allowing it to touch the paper. Maybe this is too much information, but it's the only way I believe it will work. Am ordering another test.

Malfunction?
The test unit design did not match the illustrations, which only became obvious during testing. The results area of strip was installed beneath lined ridged plastic very near the sample well, making it impossible to accurately read, as the ridged plastic made it look like there were 4 lines (instead of 1 or 2) and the lines did not remotely align with the C and T areas for reading results. Since you have to call a company that has you leave a message for any help, I have to say to anyone needing an at-home fecal occult test— DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. It will leave you frustrated, without any answers, and $ lighter in your wallet. Very dissatisfied.
