Easy Fit
Great replacement for an item that was installed 20 years ago. Easy to remove and replace the old item.

The product arrived on time - and as promised. Easy to install and works fine. Hansagrone plastic isa bit weak and wears with time.

Broke after 4 months
Looks good but the plastic insert that both holds the finished product on the wall and holds the hand held sprayer broke after 4 months. The sprayer had probably gone in and out of the holder 10 total times before the piece broke.

Not Value for Money
Pretty Basic item. Made of 100% plastic. Excellent finish but does not give me impression of value for money.

Works but could be better
This is my second of these shower arm holders. First be aware it’s plastic not metal. And over time, it will break in some way through constant use. Little plastic clips inside hold it and the shower arm in place, and they can easily snap. If you’re careful, perhaps this won’t happen to you. Ours survived five years until some cleaning people jammed the shower arm in facing the wrong way and destroyed it.The good thing is that after buying a replacement, we were able to just replace the top cover piece and didn’t need to re-screw in the base. The bad thing is that the directions were so non existent, we needed to call hansgrohe customer service to find out how to do this.

It works great
This works just great for my Hansgrohe hand shower.Perhaps previous reviewer had a different brand of hand shower. The angle of base of hand held shower must be the same as holder.

Looks like metal, actually plastic
OK, I know it says plastic in the specifications; but I assumed that "brushed nickel" meant that the plastic base had an outer metal shell. It doesn't. The finish is just some sprayed-on coating. The main issue is the problem of cleaning this. Your housekeeper, or whoever cleans your bathroom, may assume from the bracket's appearance that it is metal, and clean it accordingly. However, on the packaging there are strict warnings about cleaning that are just plain silly for something in a bathroom -- "do not use spray-on no-rinse cleaners"; "do not use solvents"; "do not use abrasives"; use only "mild soap solution" and "polish with a soft cloth". Am I really going to give my housekeeper all these instructions for one tiny little wall bracket, when everything else in my bathroom (faucets, handles, towel rails, etc) is made of real metal and can be subjected to almost any cleaning product or method. Also, this lump of plastic would be expensive at $7. At $27 it is a total rip-off.
