This shredder was well worth the money. I like the design, work buttons and safety features. It isn't as noisy/loud as I thought it would be from a few of the reviews here. It is very powerful and shredded several sheets easily. I have even shredded thinner cardboard for my worm bin and the machine had no problem. The wheels are a huge bonus because it is bit heavy. The bin holds a large capacity of shredding.

I got the white 8 sheet shredder and I'm happy with this for a $30 shredder. I've needed a shredder for a while now but didn't get one because the one I had before was about $70-80 and I didn't want to spend that again. For a cheaper model, this one does a good job. A lot of my pros and cons are comparing this to the more expensive shredder I bought at Costco. If you've ever examined the results of a straight shredder, it may have occurred to you that the magnitude of protection is rather dubious. Enter the "cross cut" shredder. To be clear though, if "they" are really out to get you, they'll lay the debris out flat, photograph both sides, with a hi-res scanner, run it through some pattern matching software, and you're cooked! However, no casual criminal or data thief is ever gonna crack this. Mix the debris in with your garbage and the data is as good as gone. In conclusion, I'm very pleased with the shredder, but those of you who are ACTUALLY paranoid need to spend a lot more money. ;)The handle on the shredder is very handy. I have no need to shred more than a page or two at a time so I can't comment on how it performs near it's limits.

This is a really nice shredder for the price. The size is perfect for my needs and the operation straight forward. Looks to be very well built and the handle is a nice feature making it easy to remove the top and put it back on. It cuts documents in nice small pieces ensuring security of sensitive information. It is quieter than I expected. The speed is decent. For no more than this cost, it is very nice.
