LOVE IT!!!
My home voltage out of the wall is 124 volts! My magic number using the brown box with my Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12 tube amp is 110 volts! The tone is so SWEET and LUSH with the voltage reduction! Takes away the harshness of 124 volts! The amp is stamped for 120 volts. I think the amp runs best between 110-118 volts. 110 volts sounds the best to my ears! The SWEET SPOT! Hopefully my tubes will last longer with the lower voltage as well! Watch the YouTube videos to see if you want to pull the trigger! Big difference in my live gig tone!

Great seller, great product.
Shooed faster than expected and works wonderfully.

Great product!
Just what any owner of older guitar amplifier needs. Safer than using a variac.

Disappointed
Returned item...on/off rocker switch not working properly. Too bulky for gigging.

Strange Packaging - Good Product
It shipped with the label attached to the branded product box with a strip amazon tape preventing it from opening, not the standard amazon box packaging. Strange enough, the actual AmpRX BrownBox inside the product box was stuffed in a typical amazon shipping white bubble wrap pouch. Not really a big deal except it could impact resale value. The AmpRX BrownBox itself was in perfect condition and the power cable was included. I'm not sure I totally trust the readings it's getting from the wall as it tends to increase by 1-2 volts the longer I have it on. However the product works as designed and allows you to bring the power down to the desired output voltages.

Rx for old amplifiers
I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this to use with my '60s Fender Deluxe Reverb. After looking at the reviews I decided to buy one for use with my 60's Fender Deluxe Reverb amp. I was pleasantly surprised with the improvement of sound. It was very easy to setup and dial in the proper AC power the amp requires. I just had the amp restored and I was concerned about the tubes being stressed by the added VAC coming from the wall plugs. 120VAC and 117VAC may not seem like much but it really is important. If you play through a vintage amp you'll find this little box will work wonders for the tone and saves the tubes.

Vintage or not……
Basically running two modern fender reissue amps into it for the sole purpose of eliminating the “you have bad power” equation from my amp techs reasoning for why my Fender amps are constantly in the shop. While my studio does have high end Furman conditioners, allowing my to run minus 5% on the brown box is just added security. Studio power regular runs between 122 and 119 so down 5% eliminates any “bad power” scenarios.

Great for my Plexi guitar amp
This is a great device for regulating voltage in a tube amp. I have it set to 116 volts (~3% reduction) for my Marshall replica, and it's the sweet spot for great tone!
