NO INDEX, only a table of contents
I bought both of Vincent Kepler’s books and while they contain good information, neither book has an INDEX allowing the reader to quickly look up and access a specific topic. In my case, I wanted info on “L2 REVERSED” on a 220 outlet. I can’t find this info in either of his books because the is NO INDEX.

Practical knowledge for people actually fixing things!
Easy to understand and clearly written. The book describes what can cause faulty electrical connections and how to find them.

I was hopping for more. This is for beginners only.
I would recommend this book to a beginner. If you have any time at all in electronics this book is not for you. It seems to be more aimed at DC voltage. I was expecting to see some 480v three phase and up to date products and circuits. By the time you use these testing methods anyone else would have already found and repaired the machine. However, this is great for a beginner to get a mind set and not think it is magic.

Finally a good book covering intermittent problems.
I've always dealt with open circuit problems but never tried going after intermittent issues because I didn't know where to even begin testing. This is an awesome little book. Now I'm more confident about these sort of issues and next time one comes up il be ready for it. This book has a solid breakdown of the causes and the solutions to alot of problems. My only complaint is that some of the images that explained the examples are not centered on the page but that's just me nitpicking. Overall good stuff as always.

Short and sweet
Brilliant little guide, filters out the needless information contained in most books on this sort of subject and yet gives you all of the information you actually need. Additionally all drawings are in colour which is usually not the case in books like this yet it is very useful. The book is short (for good reason) but everything included is relevant and the author has ensured you're not bombarded with pointless information yet explains everything you need to know and does it very well. I can't rate this highly enough and for the price it's a steal.

Great second lesson
Professional or hobbyist, you'll find a tip that might make your life solving tricky electrical problems a positive experience. ( excuse the pun)Like life it's the little things that trip us up, electricity is no different and this book helps expose those little things using a few methods.
