Scope out the view
This is a darling little thing.A bit rough round the edges but perfectly functional.Don't get me wrong, I know nothing about Oscilloscopes, I even struggle to spell the word, but with this I was soon back probing and checking the sensors on my car. It was a joy for me to watch the squarewave as I spun one of the road wheels, knowing I didn't have to remove the wheels and sensors and replace them with a disappointing nonfix.Even though a code reader identified a bad wheel sensor it turned out to be a bad earth on the ABS Module. This little Gizmo just saved me endless struggle and fortunes of dosh.I then spent a very nice hour testing all the pins on the OBD2 port and watching the CanBus signals with awe. There's no internal battery, but to me that is a good thing as I always forget to keep things charged. It was no trouble to plug it into the car cigarette socket with one of those voltage droppers. And for other things a 9volt battery gives hours and hours of use.I got the one that was assembled and tested as I was quite intimidated at the pictures of the kit, but now I wish I had got the kit as it must feel very good getting something this capable up and running yourself.Anyway, this little thing has somewhat demystified Oscilloscopes for me and I am now waiting to have a proper one delivered. Can't wait.

Fantastic hobby scope to get you started.
You can get this in kit form or ready assembled for a tiny amount more. I purchased the assembled version. And wow. For £20 you get an absolutely brilliant little scope that is super for simple hobby work. It's already proven its' worth on one project identifying a problem with a cheap power supply causing an issue with triggering on a 555 timer. The un smoothed wave immediately identifed and then used to view the smoothed wave while matching a cap across the supply to suit the load. The settings are made on the fly and easily with the four buttons and turn wheel. Just one thing that could be improved, there is no battery facility, so you need to supply your own power. This can be an adaptor, or if you want more portability, I made a simple 9v battery snap connector to plug harness and use a rechargeable 9v cell. For the money this is amazing. I don't think there's anything else that comes close.

Really useful small oscilloscope for Arduino/Pi projects
Form factor is good - I need to keep my small bench tidy, so this lives in the measurement tools box. I bought a good set of probe leads which really makes this fit for purpose with a good clean signal. It could do with a small adaptation to the back of the panel to house the 9v battery supply - the elastic band seems somehow clumsy but hey, great value!

Ideal for Smart Home enthusiasts
Perfect for low voltage digital applications with non-demanding applications such as smart home Raspberry Pi or Arduino sensor projects to confirm responses. Not recommended for those working on RF projects. There was a noticeable improvement to waveform shape and suppression of mains voltage noise when a higher rated heavy 9V 1.5A power adaptor was used over a cheap lightweight 1A rated adaptor. The quality of the power supply is vital. Good value and advisable to buy built up as I successfully built a similar kit but must admit it is challenging with surface mount devices. Having one cased makes it easier and more rugged for general purpose use. Runs off a 9V battery for portability.

Good for occasional jobs
Seems to work OK. I only need one of these on rare occasions. I used it to check the waveforms and woltage levels on a video signal adapter for connecting a vintage computer to a modern monitor. It did the job and the system works.

Doesn't' work - at all!
Bought this to replace Autolet oscilloscope - it's screen went white in about 3 seconds. This is identical product and exactly the same happens. Using 9 v battery, never got to attach probes to anything so I know I can't have overloaded it. Reset does nothing. Power off, same instantly - straight to white screen. 10 minutes off - reboot - then straight to white screen. This product just doesn't work at all - presumably something is overheating - if I wait 30 minutes to reboot I get another 30 seconds of the intended display - then white screen yet again. Bored with white screen!Don't buy it! 2 in a row same fault. I saw all the good reviews and just wish mine worked.

Okay for the price
Basic single channel scope. My first venture using an oscilloscope. Great for learning the basics, I'm using it to trace a signal in guitar amplifiers. Look on Youtube for a tutorial as the included instructions are not brilliant.
