This amp although priced way affordable and from a manufacturer that doesn’t get a great reviews on most products! This amp has blown me away! My previous amp but the dust and did not want to dump a bunch of money into my boats sound system. I took a gamble on this amp to run 6 speakers and a sub in my boat and was just shocked and blown away on how great it sounds! I would recommend this amp to anyone.

Great little amp perfect for my mids and highs

I bought this amp after my last one died from heat exhaustion. I was just looking for something cheap that could power my 2 12" Pioneer subs at with at least a little umpphh. Turns out I got a lot more UMPPHH than I expected! I bought this amp nearly 2 years ago and it's still running solid with no issues whatsoever. And believe me, if you match up your subs to your amp and don't wire up your car like a complete idiot you should have no problems. Now I know there are quite a few people that rated this amp at one or two stars, but after reading their experiences I can only surmise one of two situations; #1) They either hooked up their amps completely wrong by either bridging 2 ohm subs, had a one ohm sub, or tried matching the power rating of their subs to the PEAK power output rather than RMS (by the way, almost every manufacturer labels their amps by peak power) OR #2) They knew that they were buying the equivalent of a cubic zirconium but expected flawless diamonds! Either way it's their own fault for not doing the research before they bought the item.

Bought this used with a little cosmetic damage but nothing that hurt the amp internals, it was installed in my boat and is sounding pretty decent. Still working on tuning it but the low pass filter and hpf work great just need to ensure levels are adjusted correctly when using them or the sounds gets pretty distorted. Overall happy with it now let see how it does in the boat all summer long.

Great product

I liked the price which is why I'm sure ALOT of use bought this amp,When the amp hits it hits hard , but even with the gain turned down low and all the bass turned off at the deck , the amp will start to get hot after 4-5 songs and shut off to cool down, once it's cooled down your back to bass , that is until it gets hot again repeat process.I have the 1400x2 amp , on 2 fosgate 10s p3sThe amp does not handle the base at all.I give it a 3 star because when it is cold it works great, it's price effective, however there is no longer car rides and enjoying your music loud with this amp

What else do you need to know? It's not something that's going to push your subs, it's not going to make everyone around you feel what you're listening to so if that's what you're aiming for I'm going to detour you somewhere else and I apologize...Mine worked for over 2.5 years... Why did it stop working?I helped someone jump their car, I hooked up my end, they didn't hook up theirs right and the surge fried the amp...What you need to know:This is a good amp, nice quality, and easy to install. It lasted for a really long time for me, and would still be going if people weren't retarded, but hey, mistakes happen right?I got my use out of it, and I hope you will too...I used this Amp with the Dual Bandpass 10' subs with the neon light rings around them. The case is gray, and the middle has a clear panel, with four silver plated air holes on each corner. they were 1k watt subs, so this didn't push but 700 to each (though on my review I wrote 500 because I never really turned this amp all the way up).This amp does get hot, please be aware of this, but it's a good product.Thanks for readying and good luck to you all!
