Does exactly what it says and works with Nintendo Switch
It does exactly what it says, plug and play with no drivers needed and works with the Nintendo Switch dock. One of the kids has been playing an online game he just got and was complaining about the connection dropping and lag, even when connected to the TV right next to the AP. I never really took a close look at the WiFi capabilities on the Switch, but it turns out the WiFi on it is exceptionally horrible (found lots of complaints online about it). After we got this and hooked it up it immediately connected, and the complaints disappeared, he said just yesterday he had his best online round since getting the game and no more disconnects or lag. This adapter is about half the price of the official Nintendo one and gets the job done.

This USB-Ethernet adapter DOES work with Fire Sticks.
...or at least Fire Sticks that support USB (OTG) hubs like the 4K Max 2nd Generation.Have been using a UGreen micro-USB ethernet adapter (B01N1X28F1) for several years but also needed to connect a USB flash drive to the Fire Stick. Power/data splitter wouldn't work since that ethernet adapter requires both power AND data to function. Answer was switching to this USB 3.0/ethernet adapter (B00MYTSN18), but also needed a certain type of USB hub.Fire Sticks have a single micro-USB port, so needed an On-The-Go (OTG) USB hub that supports Fire Sticks and micro-USB connections. There were several varieties available, and purchased a 3-port USB 3.0 hub to connect both the USB ethernet adapter and a flash drive.Steps taken (see picture):- USB (OTG) hub to Fire Stick's micro-USB port.- Fire Stick's micro-USB power cable to the USB (OTG) hub....Other end of the Fire Stick's micro-USB power cable to the Fire Stick's AC adapter.- UGreen USB ethernet adapter (B00MYTSN18) to the USB (OTG) hub.- RJ45 cable to ethernet adapter.- Add USB flash drive to the USB (OTG) hub, or a keyboard, mouse, etc.It works! Fire Stick detected the ethernet connection and speed test shows OK for 1080p (see picture). However, would assume this configuration is Not Officially Supported.Unrelated: In February 2025 no driver disk is included, so would need to download drivers for older/other operating systems.

Works as intended.
Bought this for my Nintendo Switch, because otherwise the internet speed is super slow on it. Connected well, easy to use, a bit blocky but easy to hide behind the switch.

Great for switch, tv may vary
Works great on the switch. Bought another for my sony tv but it doesn’t work for it. I think it would work for some, but not my model which is a Bravia 4K UR3. Some posts said it has to work with chromeOS, which the Amazon posting says it has but it’s only stated in certain places on the box, so not sure if it’s my tv or this model.

Works wonderfully for the nintendo switch!
I use this for my nintendo switch since I play docked, and it works flawlessly, it gets the job done and it gives me high download and upload speeds, it's definitely way better than playing online through wi-fi on the switch, i'm sure we all know how that goes, constant disconnects, laggy etc. If you play your switch online a lot and want a better stable connection I definitely would recommend one of these! Just connect it to the back panel of the dock and connect your ethernet and you are good to go!

Plug and play - just like it says. Use CAT 7 ethernet cable.
I bought this because the computer I was using only had a 10/100 ethernet adapter, and my home service is supposed to deliver 400mbps. I installed this, and while it initially worked, I couldn't do better than my original 100mbps. I then discovered that the old CAT5 cable I was using was not up to the task - so I bought and ran new CAT7 ethernet cable to the unit and it delivered perfectly - I instantly had over 400mbps speed on testing. If your Internet service is capable of higher speeds, this unit should ensure that you're getting them. Great product; well-priced and super easy to install on my WIN10 PC.

Worked great with Small windows 10 laptop
Work great with my Window 10 small laptop that had usb ports but no eithernet. The wireless didn't work on the laptop. I needed the laptop as a controller for a large set of control solinoids. So with this device I got windows updated.
