This is well built and would definitely work on a boat or other water situation. I did find it difficult to use the phone with this. You can but it's not the easiest. I got it for the water resistance and will just remove the phone for use

Amazing story about an amazing water proof phone case. My brand new iPhone 11 Pro Max was lost in a river while we were on a tubing trip with friends. About an hour after it was lost a family in a canoe came buy and asked if anyone had lost a phone. He had my phone. He tosses it to us, which was missed and into the river it slipped away. We searched for about 20 minutes for it without prevail. One week later I get a notification that my phone was powered on (good old IPhone lost mode). Someone at the river had found it. It had been sitting in the river for 6 days. The person who found it mailed it to me and here it sits in my hand nearly 10 days later. No damage, no signs of water. Nothing. This case is gold!! I would pay $100 for it if I had to. It is well worth every Penny and then some.

Good case. I knew the risk that this would not fit my 4xl with it's very slim case, and it did not. The case is very minimalist. This has to void any warranties, but worked fine for me:Fill with very hot water (180f),carefully use 2 long handle implements with blunt edges to stretch the clear vinyl. I used the handles to stretch the vinyl, not the bit end of screwdrivers. Take care not to put pressure on heat welded seams at top and bottom.After this the phone and case fit fine, dropped right in. Sealed at top fine. Worked for me, understand the risk.

We live on a large lake and are avid fisherman and love to spend time boating and exploring as well. Sometimes the weather changes without much advance warning and we need to get off the water quickly, but sometimes we aren't quick enough. We got caught in a downpour that drenched all of us and although most of us tucked our electronics away the best we could, mine was safe inside this case, while others got wet. This phone case absolutely SAVED my new Note 10's life! I would have likely been 1 of the other 4 people who's phones spent the night in a bag of rice, but it was bone dry. Fantastic price to save $1000 phone, plus I was able to text ahead to shore for someone to open up a dock space at a local resort during the downpour and the touch screen through the case was flawless. I'll be getting more to keep in the camper AND on the boat.

It's a great product if you want to keep your phone dry but as far as being able to touch your phone and have it work.... eh good luck!

I own a Galaxy S8+ phone and with the protective case on, it really does not fit in the waterproof case. If I took the protective case off the phone, then it would fit far enough to seal the waterproof case.I did use it in my trip to keep my husband's iPhone dry in the water. It does exactly what the discription states. It seals well and it will keep your phone or wallet dry in the water. Rhe only draw back that I see, is that It does not float in the water so it weighs you down if you go swimming with it.

This case is much better than the previous one that I had ordered-the sides are nice & soft-so easy to use

Touch screen is okay. If I am using this bag, at the beach or canoeing or kayaking I’m not on my phone so to me it’s more important to be waterproof, however I would like to be able to use the screen more easily.
