Rock Solid Relationships: Strengthening Personal Relationships with Wisdom from the Scriptures

For the Latter-day Saint, this book is excellent advice and counsel from Wendy Watson Nelson, who is the wife of the Prophet, Russell M. Nelson, and a distinguished scholar in her own right. The information that was in this short book was very useful to discuss with my wife of 25 years, and it provided a great context for additional relationship discussions. I enjoyed it so much that I have gone on to purchase several other books written by the author. If you are wanting to grow your marriage, buy and read and apply this book.

This book was such a great read! It is filled with truths that can be applied to any and all relationships to strengthen them and invite the Spirit to be present. It has amazing insights into the scriptures that can motivate better study and more effective application. I'd recommend this book to anyone!

What I loved about this book first of all was the structure. She outlines the principles, gives examples and then invites experimentation. She gives us litmus tests to see if what we are doing to fix broken relationships is really working.I love the light, spirit and truth that are in this book, and I believe that if I wholeheartedly try some of the experiments, hard as they might be, my family will be healed and helped.

This book is full of applicable concepts of varying degrees and intentions. Read the book for the one concept that speaks to you, and apply it in your life and you will see change in your life. After that first one works, re-read it and see what speaks to you next!

This book is full of hope and "rock solid" advice. We often glance over the Lord's words in scripture but this book helps us look deeper at the counsel given and shares real life experiences to show us how to apply the counsel and relate it to our own lives.

This is the first book I've read in a long time that actually inspired me to act. The author has a subtle way of reminding the reader about eternal truths and principles, and she provides examples on how to apply these truths/principles to real-life, everyday situations and relationships. I would recommend this book to anyone, and for every relationship!
