Great fun
Took this out for a maiden voyage on the sea in Bridlington at the weekend.. all went very well.. It is easy to inflate and very manoeuvrable.. the only minor gripe, and it isn’t really a gripe because it was clear on the site and description, is that it doesn’t come with a storage bag and there is absolutely no way you’d get it back in the box!Lots of fun, every family should have one!

Excellent kayaks
I loved this kayak, they are really good. And great fun.Pro's - easy to transport, setup and assembleCons - no pump so you will need to buy 1, weight limit means realistically only good for 1adult and 1 child. Instructions that come with them are missing items i.e. some bits we had no idea what they where for.

Great Craft
This is great value for money. Strong and sturdy, had 2 adults paddle it on the sea with great results. Highly recommended.

Really cool for light use and a sunny day
So what's not to like about a 100 quid canoe that takes you and your bestie up and down the canals of this fair city for an adventure? Well the answer of course is absolutely nothing. You can quibble about the weight, it's a bit of a lump to carry if you're going far, or the pumping up effort needed and the lack of a decent pump (any pump) being included in the box, but let's get back to £100. That all seems really Ok to me.I have a hefty mountain bike pump that sorted the job. We did a bit of a 50-50 on it so it wasn't too tiring. It ends up nice and stiff if you pump 'til the cows come home. Drop it on the water, secure it, step into it one at a time while the other keeps it stable. It's a bit of a wobble, real gingerly like, and you don't want to panic with it, but it's part of the fun. The oars are a tad lightweight but do the job. It's not the Olympic finals after all.Take it easy. Get in your stride and do it in unison. Have fun and see where you get to, then come back ... or row off into the sunset if your daft. Letting it back down and getting it folded back to the original size is an impossible task. It just ends up about 30% bigger that it was, but no big deal. Overall it was great fun. The canoe itself seems stable so it's the crew members who cause the trouble. I dunno how it might survive scraping along a discarded, rusty pram in the canal but on open water it would be Ok if it's a nice day, sun and minimal wind or choppy waters.Recommended. We'll use it again for sure. Smiley face!

Bestway Hydro-Force 2 person Inflatable Kayak with Oars
The Bestway Hydro-Force 2 person (max weight 160kg/25stone) inflatable kayak is made of strong pre-tested vinyl and is UV, oil and salt water resistant. First things first, it is not supplied with a pump so unless you already have one available I would strongly recommend buying one at the same time as the kayak - after that you are good to go. The kayak is easy to inflate and deflate although bulky to carry about. When inflated it is well designed and streamlined with a removable fin for directional stability. There are two inflatable seats with comfortable backrests and two lightweight aluminium oars which are approx. 86” long. Bestway also provide a heavy-duty repair patch though hopefully I won’t need that!Enough about the construction and specs – this kayak allows you to have a lot of fun at the beach or on a river/canal. When you get the hang of it, it is easy to paddle and surprisingly stable on the water. Thoroughly enjoyable outdoor fun for a good weather, calm conditions day – note to self - remember pump and life jackets for children/non-swimmers!

Fun and exciting rowing fun
You don't have to be a professional kayak rower to have fun with this. My son-in-law and his brother had this on the canals and on the sea. They found it great to manoeuvre and easy to row with the provided oars. They did laugh a lot at first as they got the hang of it and soon got up to speed on the canals. The sea was a different matter and they had to wait until a nice warm calm day, they wore life jackets which they already had.It was easy to pump up with the electric pump kept in the car, this is not supplied with one. Easy to put together, around 40 minutes I think it took.It is a nice thick quality vinyl, but we were careful to carry it and not drag it a cross the terrain, did want it to get a puncture. We had 2 teens in this & then one teen 1 adult and also 2 adult males, It tested out well and provided lots of fun and laughter.I saw quite a few on the beach this year and watching people having fun with these Kayaks. A great price for beach or canal fun, but do wear life jackets.

Inexpensive and portable
This is a very inexpensive way to have a go at kayaking. It comes with oars, but you need to supply your own pump and life jackets. It’s quite nice that it holds two people and is quite open so if you did manage to capsize it, you wouldn’t get your legs trapped inside. A big benefit to an inflatable kayak over a traditional rigid one is you can easily fit it in your car so is easily portable and lightweight. The main downside is that on a windy day, you are blown around more than you would be in something more substantial.
