Succeeding in Business With Microsoft Excel 2013: A Problem-Solving Approach

I purchased this book for a class in Adv Excel 2010. I have found it to be an excellent book. One of the reasons I only gave it four stars instead of 5 is because rather than touching on the most used things it touches on everything that excel does. So for me it was too much of a good thing. However for anyone who wants to know every detail of excel you would probably be able to give it five stars. This book is defiantly not for a beginner to excel but defiantly for someone advanced or intermediate. Good Book!

i used this book for my business excel class for my university and it was super helpful and actually helped me get an A, granted my professor pulled material directly from it, the book was well written and an easy read. Examples are detailed and even provides some trouble shooting if you do something wrong. cool stuff. would recommend to anyone not familiar with very specific excel procedures in the business realm. (pivot charts, solvers, and basic charting/tables as well)

Anyone can work through this book at their own pace and gain confidence working in Excel. Great examples are included throughout the book.

This book gives a thorough walk through for advanced Excel formulas. I was able to follow the directions even after I missed a class or two. I would recommend this product for those who are weak and Excel and like through directs, exercises and pictures. After 2 years, I still reference my book when I get stuck on pivot tables and macros!

The book was in very bad shape when it arrived... I've done three chapters and already found 3 missing pages.The content of the book itself is not bad just a little broken down. Everything is ecplain through first person as if you're someone creating documents for someone else and it gets a little confusing at times.

I needed this text book for a class and now i want the whole series for my own reading. It uses a real life model to explain how to use all the tools of excel and now i'm using the new excel like a champ. Next up Access

I had to purchase this for a college class. The book lacks the specificity needed to actually perform some of the exercises listed at the end of each chapter. Yes the book is in depth. However it's not always helpful. I personally don't want to guess what the book is asking of me. I want to know exactly what it wants so I can properly answer the questions.
