Feelings and Dealings: Color My Emotions: An SEL Coloring Book to Build Emotional Intelligence, Social Skills, and Empathy

I'm really pleased with this emotional IQ coloring book, and wish it had been around when I was homeschooling my kids during their early, pre-reading years. I'd like to turn back the clock and enjoy the conversations that I'm sure would come up while enjoying time together coloring these pages.The illustrations do a great job of capturing both the experience of being a kid and the feelings associated with that. Super cute, and fun to color. The paper is smooth and thick enough to handle both water- and alcohol-based markers. As an added bonus, pages are printed on just one side, so just in case things do show up on the back of the paper, it's no problem.

I work as a school psychologist in an elementary school and this is great for counseling! I highly recommend this to use as a tool for feeling identification in others and discussing empathy. I work in a special needs setting so I have to adapt/modify at times but my kids really look forward to doing the pages. Great resource.

Great coloring book that goes well with the book of emotions and situations to work with kids and their emotions in therapy. This needs to be reproducible though.

This goes well with the card set, however I wouldn’t mind genderless and have the clients draw the gender.

There are a lot of coloring books out there that don’t teach anything beyond the art of coloring. I love that this book is teaching my 6-year old daughter about emotions while she’s doing something she enjoys. Helpful. We also own the game and storybook from the same author. Great book and author.

As an EE teacher in an elementary setting, I use these coloring books almost every day. They can be helpful for identifying facial expressions and having conversations about how we are feeling. But they are also good if we need to take a break or relax.
