Good material and perfect fit

Perfect for quickly and easily setting up a hammock with no knots to undo at the end of the day.

Unfortunately the loops only run just over half the length of the strap, not total length of strap which severely restricts its versatility for my uses, this should definitely be mentioned in the description. But for the carabiners, straps and spring I could not give any lower than 4 stars for value alone for £12.99.

Because of the design, it offers multiple options. Mine is for use with a hammock so with the different securing points they will from the thinnest of posts to the fatest trees.

Does the job nice and cheap would recomend

I only learned that hammock straps existed recently, so when I was invited out for a camp in the woods I ordered a pair, as I'd never been really happy about rigging my hammock with the soft, slightly stretchy rope that was supplied with it.I am really pleased with my purchase, as the hammock can now be rigged within about one minute, just by looping the two straps around two trees and then clipping the hammock in place. No knots necessary. The length of the straps means that the hammock can be easily rigged between trees of various spacing, and the tension adjusted by moving one clip from one strap hole to the next. I started with two trees that looked about the right spacing and the hammock just fitted between them. Next day I tried two trees that looked much too far apart, and it still fitted well with a couple of feet of spare strap, yet by adjusting the tension I found the hammock was much more comfortable (less sag).A friend, who is a scout leader and has five different hammocks for various outings, was so impressed that he ordered a pair on the spot for next day delivery!Some technical details:My hammock is 12' in length (loop to loop) and each strap adds between 20" and 80" to this (once the strap has been wrapped once round a moderately-sized tree trunk). So I would choose trees that are spaced between 184" and 304" (4.7m to 7.7m). Ideally, allow for wrapping the strap twice to minimise damage to the tree.Weight of each strap is 171g and the weight of each carabiner is 62g. I have a couple of spare lightweight alloy climbing carabiners (22g each for 2000kg rating) which I'm using instead, although the supplied carabiners look perfectly adequate for a hammock.

Straps are well made with good stitching all around. Pack came with a spring which I suppose was for extra comfort but I didn't need it. I tried the straps out on my hammock, set about 60ft in the air, and it didn't flinch, so all good. Nice touch with the drawstring pouch.

I’ve used other hammock straps but these are certainly some of the best I’ve encountered. The multiple loops available make hanging your hammock much easier. The simple pass through loop for wrapping round branches is straightforward to use and the reinforcing in the strap is a nice addition. The storage bag is also very useful.
