Nice little scanner. Can't beat the price. Unfortunately, as often as not, the scanner either doesn't automatically initiate when a bar code is placed under it, making it necessary to click the button or it lights up but doesn't read the bar code, meaning I have to manually input the bar code.We bought this unit to read bar codes on invoices for billing...really streamlines the data entry process when it works, but so inconsistent it's frustrating. Have tried it on various computers, plug and unplug usb, restart computer...doesn't have an impact one way or another. It works when it wants to, it doesn't when it doesn't. I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a great scanner. It arrived on time and worked right out of the box. All we needed to do to set it up was to plugin in the USB dongle; installed quickly by itself - and then start scanning. To scan, all you need to do is open up the document where you need the information and scan items. For Excel documents, it puts each entry in the cell below the previous scan.Price-wise, this one is the best deal going. We conducted extensive research into Barcode Scanners. The price ranges are huge. For our needs we required a 1D scanner that would scan items. This completely achieves that purpose. In addition, there are many options for what happens when you scan items. For example, you can have the scanner store the data until you are ready to upload it to a computer or you can have it upload the data as you scan. we are extremely pleased.

So we got this scanner for our lunch line at a small school and it functions perfectly. We immediately can scan 39 digit barcodes to our PCs that run our lunch software and it was astronomically cheaper than alternatives we'd been quoted. This reads our barcodes on school lunch ID's as well as self printed ones from our SIS system, so if you are looking for a good catch-all scanner, I'd recommend this one.

Super easy to set up. We have a point of sales system at a tennis facility, and our scanner was original equipment from 15 years ago. It was a serial connection, and of course, this one is USB. New software required a USB, and this was the perfect solution. I can not comment on durability since it is only 2 months old. Highly recommend. Appearance is far superior to the original, and it works as expected.

I have used this product first-hand in a manufacturing setup where we are scanning product packaging for verification. As a project manager overseeing site-wide implementation, I don't see anything wrong with this product. The stand is sturdy and well-designed. The range of scanner is also pretty consistent.

Worked exactly as intended.Very easy to customize.Plug and Play, installed itself faster than it took me to unbox.The laser is nice and thin, so you can easily scan smaller barcodes.Only a 1D scanner, so don't get this if you want to scan barcodes off a screen.

This is a great barcode scanner for the money; it reads quickly and is holding up well to regular use. The included programming booklet allows for setting different functions on the scanner (something the last scanner I purchased lacked) Highly recommended.

Hooked this bad boy up to my office at work to scan things that I have programmed for it to scan, and it works flawlessly. Always a great addition when I'm bored, and its a nice durable scanner too
