Let’s break it down.Customer Service: Triple A 1+My purchase of this piece (and the matching dresser) was complicated by the fact that I was moving, which happened in between the shipping window. I was so stressed out about the pieces getting delivered too soon or too late. What’s more, I pre-hired my handyman to assemble them before I even got them because he’s usually booked and I didn’t want to miss the opening he had. Short story: instead of going back and forth with them via email about my predicament, I asked them to call me. They did so within 10 minutes. I explained my situation and they decided to rush my shipping so that the two purchases would arrive before I moved so that I can get them assembled on the date that I hired my guy in my new place.Moving in NYC is hard as it is. I didn’t need this to add to my stress. Luckily, the prompt and excellent customer service from this company resolved my worry.Product: 5 Full StarsThe wood is of great quality. My handyman, an expert in woodwork, was impressed with the quality of these pieces. A major professional pet peeve of his is unaligned furniture, when the drawers can’t be nice and flush, or look lopsided. There was no such problem with this chest! The drawers are nice and deep and the top drawer with the lock and key is a very nice touch. My handyman even said that he’s going to look into purchasing from this company for himself.Never thought that I could get such great quality furniture on Amazon. Now I know where to look for my furnishing needs.

If you have done the kind of research that I have, you know that the dresser of your dreams is something that can be assembled and delivered to your door for $1,500-$2,000+. I read all the reviews about this dresser, and the bad ones concerned me. With trepidation, I invested less than $400 in this magnificent 5-drawer dresser, and I have no regrets!THIS DRESSER ROCKS!It came packaged in two separate cardboard boxes SO THICK and SO WELL GLUED, that it took me considerable time just getting everything out.I took my time putting this thing together. Perhaps 3 hours, just me, frequently resting, sipping tea, and carefully reviewing the directions along the way (which are wonderfully wordless, just images -- they beat IKEA at their own game! Lol).The wood is magnificent! It's THICK and SOLID in places where competitors cheeseball you. The backing is unbelievably solid wood, providing perfect rearward center-of-balance to offset the opening of full drawers (and of course it comes with anti-tip-over wall-mount stuff, too).This unit is nice and tall! My 5'2" girl has to stand on her tip-toes to see in the top drawer. Good -- that one's mine, Lol!The drawers are refreshingly capacious. They've got DEPTH, both down and back. 8 pair of jeans with wiggle room, no problem.I store neatly folded clothes in mine. You should too. Anything super-heavy like big rocks, barbell attachments, huge stacks of papers and books -- please go buy something made of concrete and steel.I cannot foresee a day when this dresser will fail me. I'm glad I bought it. I'm buying another, soon.

This ALL Wood very tall chest suited my needs perfectly after some modifications. First of all it is very tall, I needed to trim off 1.25" off the bottom so that it would fit under my 50" wall mounted TV which is mounted as high as possible. Then I used my table saw again and enlarged the grooves in the drawer lumber pieces so that I could upgrade the thin 2mm bottom plywood with more sturdy 1/4 " store bought plywood as to increase the durability of the very spacious drawers. Then I cut a piece of 1/2 inch plywood to upgrade the 2mm back panel piece of plywood to make the chest more sturdy for the amount of clothing that I knew would be going into to this very large capacity piece of furniture. Then I used the supplied 2mm plywood and cut it to size to fabricate a bottom inside dust cover as a life time of experiencing how much dust can accumulate under furniture made me realize this would improve the functionality of this unit. After my desired upgrade of altercations was complete, assembly was no problem and my project was almost complete after six total man hours which I actually enjoyed since I deliver mail for a living. Once assembled it is a little top heavy, did I mention it is very tall, so I affixed a couple of corner braces to the back and secured them to the studs on my wall so it would not be a tipping hazard. After all said and done I will say the chest is very handsome, maybe just a tad hint of red to the honey pine which is not depicted in the online photos, but still goes nicely with my haley oak colored flooring. This chest came packaged impeccably and all parts were included with no damage during shipping. It is all wood and you do not have to make the modifications I made but for the price of two pieces of plywood and a little extra time I believe I have made myself a solid wood extremely functional, high capacity, handsome piece of furniture which will last for the rest of my life. I liked it so much I purchased 3 more matching pieces for a lower price on EBAY and did the same mods and now we have solid wood matching bedroom furniture to go with our new wood floor at a fantastic price. Needless to say I highly recommend Palace Imports.

Very nice furniture but the handling was very bad. The furniture got some damages. Still love it . I did not want to return it cause all the process it takes.

Nice dresser. Just wish the dimensions were correct.
