Pentair Flotec E75VLT Professional Series 115-Volt 3/4-HP Submersible Cast Iron Sump Pump

I have a 12-foot deep 2100 square foot basement sitting on 16 inches of compacted drain rock. My sump pump is set a bit deeper than 13 feet. I have burned through two other highly recommended pumps before purchasing this Flotec pump from Amazon. This reliably powerful pump will shoot a 2-inch diameter column of water 25 feet straight up out of the sump pit...I know, I tried it. With the 90-degree elbow and 55 feet of 2" pipe off my property this pump has no problem draining the rock under my basement floor. The water table around here is, at times, only 8 feet deep which means I have a lot of water under my basement floor. I have this pump on a timer and run it about four hours every night. The Flotec completely drains my sub-basement in that time period.

great pumping capacity, efficient low amp motor, simple design (remember to put a check valve in line), and warranty as good as any in the industry- what's not to like?

I actually didn’t install this specific pump. I bought it as a back up to a same model pump that I installed more then 10 years ago. The existing pump was easy to install. It’s a bit noisy (i can hear in my living room which is above pump) but I don’t have any issues with the pump since I installed it.

Just a heads up, but I got some gravel inside the pump base, where it cracked off some of the plastic fins of the impeller. Figured it was an easy fix, so I removed the broken impeller and tried to order a new part. After searching online and calling Flotec, I discovered that they had discontinued the impeller and it is now unavailable. A small piece of plastic that should cost 50 cents to make. I now have a 25 pound paperweight that I paid over $200 to purchase. I won't be purchasing from Flotec ever again. If they sell the pump, they should commit to having parts available.

Bought nine, work great. Using commercially in large under ground vaults. Hope it gives me years of good usage.

My sump pit runs about once per hour and three-fourths of the year and a little less in the summer. The lift is about 15 feet, but then gravity takes over. This pump lasted a little under three years and then it blew up, spewing the internal oil and causing a time consuming clean up. It was rusting after just a few weeks. This is not a high quality pump. Don't bother.

We've been getting torrential rains here again much like last year and this pump has kept up with every storm easily. Our house is at the bottom of a hill and no sump pump I've used before was powerful enough to keep up when when we get rains like this. I Highly recommend.

I wanted one just like my old one and this is it. It will fit the same as the other.

I was looking for a good quality sump pump and this is it . Only problem is that do not stay for a long time on line specially at the price I paid.
