The unit only fits in certain TVs that have enough room for a large object to be plugged in to the HMDI. I have not really enjoyed this unit, keeps falling out or just not working.

Garbage. Wish I would’ve returned it. Streaming is limited to YouTube only because of copyright limitations on all major streaming services. Clunky pairing initially and completely unable to pair after about 30 days of use. Don’t waste your money.

Setting it up was a breeze; I was able to connect my iPhone and Android devices to my TV in no time. The installation and mirroring from iOS were easy and quick. Out of the box, plugged into HDMI port and gave it power from the USB connector. My iPhone was able to find the AnyCast and connected with just a click of the button.Try projecting from my laptop using the MiraCast function became difficult. Application provided via download is poorly documented and un-intuitive. As instructed, the app search and able to find my wireless router. The app also asked to change the AnyCast password, and I gave it one. However, the change only applied to AirCasting and MiraCasting kept using the weak default password. This is a big hole in security, and I cannot find any firmware update or patch that would fix this. The worst part was the website, where there is no support contact to find a solution.I went with the lowest cost unit. I got what I paid for!!!!

I am using this with an older Toshiba tv/monitor that doesn't seem to have miracast. I am using it mostly to play videos and movies from my Samsung galaxy tab active5. It seems a bit finicky at times. For instance it might not appear as available unless you unplug and plug it back in. I'm not sure all of the situations one might use it in. I had an older roku that doesn't allow me to connect to the TV but this works for what I am looking for and the price was right. I'm giving 4 stats just because it is a bit temperamental. I will check back after I have some time using it.

Followed instructions to the “t” and couldn’t get it to work. First it couldn’t find any “WiFi hotspot.” I reset and refreshed my phones browser multiple times finally it located my WiFi but then couldn’t connect to it with a “poor signal” alert. (I do NOT have poor signal in that location!) Messed with it for an HOUR getting increasingly frustrated before just smashing it. A rectangular chip was found to have not been properly soldered to the board. Don’t buy this, it’s not worth two pennies.

TV & 2 Will 11 laptops SEE the device but device does NOT respond to 3 different browsers nor direct Cmd Ping from 2 win 11 & a Win 7 computer. Fails to load the setup to enter the device password to establish communication... Returned to Amazon and requested a new one..

I recently used this wireless display adapter on a business trip and it exceeded my expectations. I used it to connect my laptop to the large screen in a hotel conference room and the presentation was very good. There was no cumbersome setup, it was almost plug and play, and a stable wireless connection was quickly established. I am really very satisfied.
