This is a powerful and easy to use washer
This is a powerful and easy to use washer, and it really gets the job done quietly and efficiently, especially when its low proce is considered in the equation. I would happily give it five stars but for a few minor annoyances.First, let me say that the motor and pump seem to be powerful and when running, they sound smooth and solid. No problem here, whatever! The nozzles, connectors, etc., are pretty standard, but the high pressure hose kinks very easily and where it kinks, the colour of the plastic changes. Not very reassuring, and so far it's OK, but I wonder about its likely service life.Second, whoever the excellent engineer was who designed the pump apparently had nothing to do with the case and hardware! The wheels are without a doubt the flimsiest garbage I have ever seen. I would be embarrassed to put them on a toddler's cheap plastic wagon, and I will be replacing them, if possible, as soon as I can get to Tractor Supply or a large hardware store.Thirdly, the detergent container is a joke. You cannot move the washer without it falling out of its enclosure. This really aggravates me because better retention could have been engineered in at no cost at all, just by changing very slightly the contours of the back housing where it sits. This is a real bummer, and evidence that the design engineer likely got his degree at some mail-order college and never actually tried to use the device.Over all, I am immensely happy with the way this power washer works, especially at this price. But I suggest to the manufacturer that they make their housing engineer actually USE the product before they fire him and hire a more practical, hands-on replacement. I will keep and use this washer because it is damned good, but I will curse the fact that it could have been made dead perfect for the five or ten bucks extra that I would have paid happily.

Excellent for Residential Use
I'm mystified by other reviewers' comments about this being hard to assemble, about the wheels being junk, about the hose reel being hard to install, and about the unit being underpowered. Mine arrived almost fully assembled -- I only had to put in one screw to attach the holster -- how hard can that be? The wheels are perfectly adequate for residential use. They allow it to be moved easily on hard surfaces -- I wouldn't want to take a cross-country trip with the wheels, but what more does one need for residential use? My hose reel was already installed. The unit power is exactly as advertised. This replaced a old Karcher 1200 psi unit, and this one is certainly more powerful. The hose attachment worked fine. If you want an industrial-grade or commercial unit, this isn't for you. But for cleaning the patio, or furniture or typical household uses, it's great. We'll have to see how the durability/reliability is, but that's the only unknown for now. For the price, it's excellent.4/2019 Update - I've used it three times to clean the patio. So far no problems. Everything still works, no leakage, still plenty powerful for residential use. The wheels have not broken. Still pleased with this item.

This is not an industrial strength machine that will last a long time if used on a regular basis .
I bought it because the one I had before worked okay and it lasted two years. This time I thought I'd buy it again and also buy the three year warranty. I bought in in August 2017 and the warranty ran out in Aug 2020. I tried using it in October 2020 and it doesn't work as it should. I suspect that the problem is with o-rings in the pump. The motor runs fine but it just quits pumping water under pressure. I've been using pressure washers for a couple of decades and they all seem to fail within 2-3 years. I'm giving this a 3 star because its only average. A little extra quality inputs and quality control and these items would last longer and not need to be replaced due to a minor defect. They've become ball point pens. Better products for a better planet.

Ok Unit but does have some design Flaws
Bought this in Feb 2015, it failed in Nov 2017. The unit worked ok but there are couple of things that they need to address. The first is the ease of use of switching between the turbo and regular nozzles. That requires a lot of force to push and turn the units to get them to engage. The turbo nozzle eventually refused to stay attached to the trigger wand. The connection from the unit to the trigger wand eventually started leaking. the quick disconnect feature was a good idea but in reality, I seldom removed that line so opting for something that ensure no leakage would have been a better design than the quick disconnect approach. Finally, not sure how long these units should last but just over 2.5 years doesn't seem that long. I would say I moderately used the unit, primarily for washing my cars. The warranty expired in one year so I had to replace the unit and have gone with a Sun Joe model. We'll see how that works out.

No better or worse than other units I've had.
This is my third small electric power washer, my first of this brand. None seem terribly well built, with plastic parts that are not meant to last. The first thing I noticed on this one was that the wheels don't really work. You just sort of drag the unit along, and the wheels don't turn. Well that makes it a bit awkward to move, to say the least. I am not a real fan of the way the water hose attaches to the handle either; seems like it's designed to break (my last one inserted into the base of the "gun" where it stayed out of the way). Well, the unit itself works OK, no better or worse than my previous models. It has only two attachments but really we only used one. The quick-release for the garden hose was a nice feature, and the built-in hose reel seems OK too. The soap container falls off freely, so is of little use (maybe duct tape?), but we don't really use the soap anyway. So, I only give it 3 stars, and don't understand the other rave reviews, but each to his own.
