E-Z Photo Scan's Kodak PS50 Photo Scanner Bundled with Flatbed and Photo Selector Software

I bought the Kodak PS50 several months ago to scan family photos. I have boxes full of them and I am just now getting around to digitizing them. I didn't want to spend the rest of my life placing a single photo on a flatbed, scan, remove and repeat. Plus some of my older photos having writing on the back of them. The PS50 scans 25-27 photos (single-side or both-side) within SECONDS. The photo quality at 300dpi is very impressive, but you can up the dpi settings if you want to. I like the fact that I can choose the settings for a batch and then load up another group and the settings remain the same.I've used the flatbed that comes with the PS50 package and it works well for large photos (over 8x10). I had several 5x7 photos that "melted" to the glass on the picture frame, so I had to use the flatbed to scan it so that I didn't damage the photo by removing the picture off the glass. It worked very well!PROS:1. Quick, easy and consistent picture scanning.2. Scans both sides of photos if you wish it to.3. Folding the feeder tray and receive tray up folds the printer vertically, giving it a small footprint for storing.4. Comes with a scanner cover to protect the scanner / glass from dust.CONS:1. Sometimes the flatbed doesn't register on my laptop and is a bit "wonky". However, the PS50 itself is seamless.2. The PS50 only scans in JPG. I would like to scan documents in PDF or WORD.

Scanned fifty years of family photos of which some were kind of brittle in a week. Also used it after to scan some tax documents so I would have a digital copy. Quick and easy.
