Dark Stone Sanding Sleeves for Spindle Sander 4-1/2" Length (600 Grit, 1-1/2")

HAVE NOT USED YET BUT THEY APPEAR TO BE WELL MADE AND THE FINER GRITS ARE HARD TO FIND...WILL UPDATE WHEN I HAVE TRIED THEM...KIND OF PRICEY.

I glue an 80 grit and a 150 grit to a 1/2' diameter birch dowel and use it to sand concave surfaces in model ship building. They work great.

They work fine for me. I didn't have any issues with them. I felt like I got about 2 solid hours out of each one before it started to burn my wood. I was using these on some walnut chairs. I docked a star though because they only sent me 5 150's.. the 6th was something like 300 grit.

It was like the picture and was good.

The large gaps made the paper burn after only barely using it. Besides the gaps, the sand starts to falls off after one use.

It does everything it is advertised to do. it did not come apart as some do when used extensively with hard woods.

This is a replacement for a rigid 1/2 sanding sleeve. Exact replacement and functions perfectly.
