Decent Product
I've used these for several years now and have no major complaints. Depending on your phone some people on the other end will either get blown out or not be able to hear you very well. Overall most people I speak with say it sounds great. There is a little switch on the plug that seems to turn up or turn down the volume for your listeners which works ok. The other option is to adjust the boom closer or farther from your face. The boom is flexible so it can be adjusted real easily.Overall I've been real happy with these except for the fact that I have to replace them as soon as 3 months up to a year and a half. Sometimes it's definitely my fault for snagging the wire on something as I'm moving about and other times I'm not so sure.In conclusion, I feel it's a pretty decent headset especially for the price. It's lightweight, adjustable and you can wear it on either ear. I just wish it could take a little more abuse.

Plantronics Cordless Phone Headset M210C
PLNM210C - M210C Headset for Cordless and Mobile Phones with 2.5mm Connection Amazon has a bunch of these from different vendors. I bought the one for the lowest price and free shipping. It's a decent, but cheap, headset. Audio quality is adequate and volume is high enough to hear. The adjustable headband grips reasonably well but does not press the speaker tightly against the ear. The connector plug is flimsy and opened up on mine which caused a connection failure; I glued the connector shell back together and it works. Two stars overall. One more because the price is right.[UPDATE] This is in answer to a question asked:My recollection is that there wasn't much volume control. This was a pretty decent (and inexpensive) headset for some phones but it did not do well for *outgoing* volume when I switched to a Panasonic cordless phone. I now use a Panasonic KX-TCA60 headset.

Solid sound quality. Questionable construction.
Since I just tested this after receiving it today, I wanted to post something. Very dissatisfied with the headset I bought made by Panasonic for my Panasonic KX-TGA930T, I thought I would try this. The Panasonic headset has a stupid hole in the lower section of the slider which weakens the unit. Mine broke there. I bought this one because from the pictures, I could not see a hole. Alas, the entire lower section has only three sides so I guess it won't last very long either. At least the plastic is thicker on this.I am very happy to report that the sound quality on my end and the called party's end are very good. The microphone arm does have a stop to it so you cannot spin it around and break the wires like you can on the Panasonic headset. Nonetheless, I'm not going to flip it around for right ear vs left ear repeatedly. The microphone arm also can be bent to position which is amazing to me at this price.

The bare-bones headset with muffled sound
I use this headset for my daily 2hr-ish chat with my partner who lives abroad. It's nothing fancy. No volume or mute control on the cord like my old Plantronics headset had, but it does have a clip on the cord (though I never use it). The earpiece is reasonably comfortable, as is the mic. However it's one flaw has been that the sound is not as clear and loud as I've been used to on my other headsets. So far it hasn't been so muffled that I've needed to replace it, but I do find that I often have to press the headphone to my ear in order to hear clearly. Which, as one might imagine, is rather annoying. While I was too lazy to send it back and am too poor to bother with getting a new one at the moment, I would recommend spending a buck or two more and gettingĀ Plantronics M214C Headset with Adjustable Volume .

Okay in a pinch
I bought this headset to replace a Plantronic's CT14 headset. I got this one in particular because I knew it would work okay with the CT14 and I could get it overnight; I needed it right away to replace the original headset. Sound quality is mediocre and there was not enough volume for me even with the CT14's volume control all the way up. Persons I spoke with on the phone commented that the sound on their end sounded distorted somewhat, i.e. over-modulated. The only volume control on this headset is a low-high switch for mic gain which is useless. I also ordered the Spare M170 Headset CT14 and got it two days letter. This is much better. My only complaint is that the cord is physically weak (on the old headset, the cable near the plug broke internally.) Regardless, both headsets need to be handled carefully.

It was good while it lasted
This inexpensive headset did everything I needed - for about 18 months. I used it several times per week, and I guess I averaged at least a couple hours per week. It stopped working without warning - I tried to use it one day and couldn't hear anything. I found that there was an intermittent connection near the plug end of the cable - note that there's no strain-relief feature at the plug end. Flexing the cable would let me hear; however it really isn't worth my time to try repairing it.I'll look for a replacement headset that has strain relief for the cable. If I can't find anything similarly cost-effective, I'll get an identical replacement and implement my own strain relief, perhaps with tape or a flexible rubber compound.

Cordless?
When you hear the word "cordless" when describing a headset, what do you think of? The set works just fine, no problem, however, there's a cord that connects it to your phone/computer/whatever item you hook them up to. It's not "cordless" in the sense that a wireless mouse is cordless, or that a Bluetooth device is cordless. In fact, other than that you don't have to plug them into the wall to power them, I can't for the life of me imagine what the word "cordless" refers to, especially as a comparison to any other product in its peer group. So, this is a decent headset at a reasonable price, but when evaluating whether you want to buy it or not, just pretend you don't see the word "cordless".

Lightweight, sturdy construction, good value
I was looking for a headset to plug into my Panasonic cordless phone and after reading reviews of other models, I chose this one.The headset is lightweight, but well made. Of course, there is a wire, but on the other hand you don't have a heavy object (i.e. wireless device) hanging on your ear. The sound quality is good, on mic and headphone. Good value.

Perfect
Well built, good sound, well priced. I couldn't ask for more. Got a second one for the wife who spends much more time on phone than I do.
