Yes, buy this iron!
This is the best iron I have ever used! I love the blast of steam that quickly gets out heavier wrinkles. Functions are all easy to use and understand. Easy fill chamber, but, you do have to hold it up to the light to see how much water is in it, or could overfill. Lightweight and glides over the item easily, removed wrinkles with ease. The retractable cord is super convenient, just make sure to hold the end of the cord slightly as you press the retract button or it will whip around. Highly recommend and would buy again!

Super nice iron
I bought this to replace one that kept leaking and annoyed me greatly. I read reviews and shopped around and landed here. I hate ironing with a passion; I'd rather clean up dog poop in the backyard. It's boring and well.... tiresome. Yet I'm super picky about my bed sheets (I love the feel of the percale) and looking at wrinkled pillow cases just irks me. So I iron begrudgingly. Okay, I'm actually more irritated than begrudging. However, this iron seems to make that job go a little more quickly, which I appreciate. It's bigger than my previous iron and it heats up quickly. I also like the fact that I keep it on the same setting and can turn off and on separately without moving that dial (my previous one was a dial that changed the temperature AND the on/off function). It holds a lot of water and doesn't require distilled water either.I do have to fill it again about 3/4 of the way through my task because the steam and the spray seem to use quite a bit but that's the only annoyance for my picky desire for crisp, smooth sheets. When I'm done, I empty the water chamber completely and let it air dry on the counter overnight. I have super hard water here in Colorado and want this iron to last longer than the previous one did.

LOVE this iron.
All the features they advertise are worth the investment. I did a lot of research before buying this one. It's extremely good in its price range. No leaks so far. Great steam. Great wrinkle removal. Durable. Cord length is a bit short but an extension cord does the trick. Good design.

Review from an iron fanatic
My review after using it the first time: It's a good iron. Strong steam, not too heavy, glides smoothly, heats up quickly. Great iron if you have cotton and linen clothes. The tank holds 1.5 cups of water. My one complaint is the fact that it's almost impossible to see the water level because of how dark the tank is. My remedy: keep a measuring cup with 1.5 cups of water ready for times I have lots of clothes to iron. The other concern is the retractable cord. I like it but hope it continues to work and not get stuck. This feature also makes the iron taller and more bulky. Overall, pleased with this Chi iron.

Excellent iron!
I did a lot of research before choosing this iron and I am not disappointed. Everything about it is quality. The water is easy to fill, the controls are easy to read, the cord retracts smoothly and the iron glides nicely over fabric. So far no problems with spurting water or a sticky surface like my last iron... I'm very pleased.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I am compelled to share my experience so it doesn’t happen to you. I received this iron November 26th. It heated right up, ready button turned green, and it was amazing! Ironed like a dream! It made ironing my husband’s work shirts so much easier (I won’t say fun- but easier). I iron five dress shirts a week all at the same time once a week. On January 11th I went to use it for maybe the 5th time to iron my husband’s five work shirts. All of a sudden the ready light won’t turn green, it won’t heat all the way up. I try all the ideas I can find on the internet, self cleaning it, trying a new outlet, etc. No luck. So I email Chi customer service as I have only had the iron a month and a half. They are happy to send me a replacement (8-10 days) as long as I pay the $11.49 shipping. I explain to the representative (in an email) that I feel this is ridiculous that an iron over a hundred dollars doesn’t heat up after five uses and I have to pay the shipping. I call Chi customer service- and still they tell me that I have to pay the shipping. I explain that I haven’t even gone past the half way point of the three months amazon return policy and she suggests that if I don’t want to pay the shipping I return it to amazon. Thankfully, amazon stands behind their customer service, because Chi certainly does not. If you want to pay an average of $20 per use which is what I got out of this iron, than it will be fantastic those few times. If you’re looking for an iron that lasts longer than two months and stands behind their product- this is not the iron for you.

Worth price !
I love ironing and am very particular on how I want clothes to look. Prior to this , I was buying irons in the $30-$40 range and they would last around 3 years . I’ve been using this iron for about 4 months now and I can’t believe how much easier it’s been to iron with this . I’ve been able to iron my clothes in a very short amount of time and love the steam! There is so much steam with this I only have it dialed in at half . Great product , super happy!
