One of the best we tried for small hands
TLDR; the most comfortable grip for:- ...big hands? get the Satisfye- ...small hands? get this one ("Protective Case for Switch,Dockable Cover Case for Switch")In the past week, my girlfriend and I have tried these cases:- "Dockable Case for Nintendo Switch, Mumba [Blade Series] TPU Grip Protective Cover Case"- "YoK Black Ergo Grip"- (this one) "Protective Case for Switch,Dockable Cover Case for Switch,Grip Cover in Silicone with Anti-Scratch and Shock-Absorption Soft TPU" (the name "Gabxy" is printed on the box which appears to be a seller/company name, but strangely it's not mentioned in the product info)- SatisfyeFor me, at 6'2" tall with larger hands, the Satisfye case fits the most comfortably in my hands. I like how snugly it "floats" in the grip, although my girlfriend commented that she disliked how much effort it took to remove from the case, though for me that's a non-issue and in fact I like how snug it holds the switch. It's nice also that it can stand upright on a table. Also great about this grip is that you can buy it with a protective case that fits the whole thing perfectly. For my girlfriend at 5'4" tall with definitely much smaller hands, her favorite is the Gabxy Protective Case. We both also like smooth, soft silicon feel of the hand grip. Unlike the Satisfye though, it cannot stand upright. The YoK Black Ergo Grip is also for small hands, and we both like that it has slots for placing extra games in the case so you can easily carry them with you (even though all our games are digital -- you never know when we might get a physical one), but it's all made of a single piece of hard plastic which just doesn't feel that great in your hands. The Mumba Blade series case looks slim and cool but unlike the other three the grip isn't designed to fit into your palm; rather, you hold it more like you would hold the Switch by itself, with your fingers doing a lot of the work. It definitely is an improvement over the Switch by itself in terms of comfort, but no where near the other cases with a full grip. The downside to basically all the cases is that the Switch cannot be docked while they are in use -- at least not easily, or in a way that doesn't make me nervous by the amount of force I have to use to push the device into the OEM dock. The best possible case in my opinion would be:- Made in at least 2 sizes so it's comfortable for a wide range of people- Has soft, silicon grip that you hold in the palm of your hands- Has a few slots in the case for storing some extra games you want to take with you- Can stand upright on a table- Can easily fit in the dock without removing the case- Looks aesthetically pleasingWhen you find such a case, let me know. :)

Close to Perfection
The Sorzeen Protective Case for Nintendo Switch is the improvement I wanted out of the Skull & Co. GripCase, making the Switch's handheld mode a great experience. First off, there’s nothing covering the shoulder buttons, as it should be. Despite the fact that the Joy-Con triggers are pretty sensitive to pressure, the thought of adding a case that makes it harder to press them after getting used to it for a year is infuriating. Since the Sorzeen case protects almost every other inch of the Switch (with the added screen protector), this is a compromise I'm more than happy to take. The grips themselves protrude slightly outward instead of extending straight out the back like many other cases. In terms of ergonomics, this case is only second to the Satisfye grip, but unlike Satisfye, the Sorzeen case can dock.Contrary to the reviews you may have seen on the Skull & Co. GripCase, there’s no question on whether the Sorzeen Protective Case docks or not. It definitely does, but be advised that, like the Skull & Co. case, the two USB ports on the side of the dock will be blocked when docking with the Sorzeen case. Instead of textured plastic on the grips, Sorzeen opted for silicone, and it works nicely. This case won’t tug at your skin and it won't slip through your fingers even after extended play times. This is a 5 star product for me, but depending on what you need, you may have some caveats. The kickstand is unavailable while the case is on the Switch. There's rectangle shaped holes for what I believe to be ventilation purposes, but they're cut out in a way that does not allow using the kickstand. It'll be annoying if you have a habit of switching out micro SD cards. Also, the Joy-Cons cannot be detached from the Switch. This one is an even bigger head scratcher because the top of the case barely covers a small portion of the Joy-Cons, but just enough to render them undetachable. Why can't that portion be cut out, especially when the case already exposes the detaching button on the back of the controllers? Under normal circumstances, this issue is irritating enough to knock this product down a star, but the only reason I'm not doing that is because I have a Pro Controller to use while the Switch is in docked mode, so the issue is moot for me.Provided that you don't care about the kickstand and have another controller to use while in docked mode, this case is the one to but. The gray and red/blue options is a great start, but hopefully we'll see more color variations if this product catches on.

Sturdy and comfortable case for smaller / women's hands, not sure I'd call it dockable
Most reviews for game peripherals are written by men with giant meat paws. I'm a woman with average-sized-for-a-woman meat paws. So I researched high and low for a Switch grip that would fit MY hands. This is it. The grips are nicely angled and the silicone bits are VERY comfy. The Switch feels completely enclosed and protected -- the bottom lip of the grip goes all the way across the bottom of the Switch, so the weight is well supported. All ports are very accessible except for the game card door, which I'm actually OK with -- I can still get it open with a fingernail, and that door is flimsy enough that I actually prefer it being more covered. It was a little tricky to take off and put on at first, but I've got the hang of it now. I usually unhook the top and hold it back from the unit, then push one of the side edges off the Joy-Con, then push up from the bottom. The Skull & Co Maxcarry case will fit this grip without difficulty -- the silicone grip ends tuck snugly into the corners of the Maxcarry case, so the unit doesn't slide around. My main criticism is that I wouldn't call this a dockable case, personally. I can get it in my dock if I'm VERY careful, but the tolerances are EXTREMELY close, and I usually have to tap it a time or two to get it all the way in and seated. It works but it doesn't feel easy or good. I absolutely would not even try it if your Switch doesn't have a screen protector applied.
