Overall a good book that provides insights on modeling early Messerschmitt Bf109 aircraft.Written in 2006,it covers the kits available at that time. It could probably use a revision to show the more current kits offered by Eduard and Trumpeter.The information provided is still good and gives the modeler a good reference.Recommend.

This book allows a new or generally inexperienced modeler to be led to build an impressive model and not just another toy for the shelf.Lots of reference material is circumvented by use of this type of book and is a great start.Highly recommended

Ich habe schon mehrere Osprey-Bücher, die teilweise eine echte Hilfe darstellen (Figuren Heer), aber dieses Buch ist für mich leider nicht sinnvoll gewesen, so dass ich es zurückgeschickt habe.Man bekommt hier leider nur für jedes der gezeigten Modelle eine große Anzahl von Fotos des - unbemalten - Rumpfes oder probeweise zusammengestellten Bausatzes, die für mich nicht wirklich hilfreich waren.Ich hatte mir vielmehr Bemalungsvorschläge erhofft, von denen es in diesem Buch leider zu wenige gab.Wer seinen Bausatz supern möchte, um die oft bestehenden Fehler der Modellbausätze zu beheben, ist hier richtig. Wer aber eine Hilfe bei der Bemalung sucht, nimmt besser ein Buch aus der F.A.Q.- Reihe.

Achat conforme à mes attentes je recommande à tous les modélistes exigeants pour ces modèles historiques.
