You probably will not believe this review when you read it, but it is true. I bought the apothecary style, 250ml version. This is by far the BEST herbal storage jar I have ever tried. Trust me, I've done a lot of research.First, the shipping was fast and the jar arrived well-protected in bubble wrap. The lid arrives as a separate piece, also protected. There are a couple of blank, circle-shaped stickers as well that you can write on and stick on the jar somewhere if you want (I do not).Upon unwrapping, the quality of the glass and craftsmanship is readily apparent. These are not cheap or thin. They are solid, thick glass. The lid/stopper is made of the same glass and the seal is glass-on-glass (the bottom part of the stopper has a rough finish and you are instructed to twist ever-so-slightly to "lock" the top, and jiggle back-and-forth gently to open it).I needed something to store some herbs in, long-term (more than a couple of months). After doing research into the benefits of this type of glass, I thought it might be too good to be true. You see some stories about how someone found Egyptian herbs that were 2000+ years old and were still fresh when opened. I have no idea if those stories are true, but I can tell you 100% that these work - whatever or however they do it.Traditionally, I used clear glass jars with an air-tight rubber seal. They worked OK, but the herbs would invariably dry out after a days or weeks. I was concerned the seal on the Infinity Jar is not actually "airtight" due to the seal just being glass-on-glass, but whatever is going on, it works.I tried a side-by-side comparison placing the same herbs in (1) a clear, airtight jar, and (2) the Infinity jar. After one week there was a marked difference in that the clear jar herbs were crackling, dried out and lost almost all smell associated with them. The Infinity Jar herbs were as fresh, soft, fluffy and fragrant as the day they went in. After two weeks the difference was even more marked, and after three weeks, it was night and day. The clear jar herbs crumbled to dust when I squeezed them, while the Infinity Jar herbs were soft, sticky, fragrant and just as fresh tasting as the day they went in.After 3 months, I'm still so happy with mine that I bought another one, and I would buy more. They have all shapes and sizes. If you're into fresh, tasty herbs, you owe it to yourself to give this a shot. Even if you go through yours fairly quickly, you can get a smaller version and you'll be happy.

I bought this bottle for the anesthetics of it. I go for utilitarian objects that are also antiquated at the same time.

The jar is very sturdy and dark but if you put in front of light you can see the beautiful purple blue tint. I know just by seeing and feeling it that what ever goes in there will be kept fresh for a long long time. I only wish it was not so expensive... I do know though that good thinks cost... oh well.

I spent 6 hours researching jars and trying to figure out which one would be the best bang for the buck, and at the same time, the best possible solution for long term storage of perishable items.I bought a few other different types of jars for storage, and was semi-happy with them. Until I got this.It arrived in the mail in 2 boxes- a very large outer box with a smaller box inside that's filled to the brim with bubble wrap. They took packing seriously and packed the jar and lid with love!I was very pleased to see that this jar had an awesome seal, the glass is very thick and it is clear that if you take good care of this, it is something you can pass on to future generations. This is the equivalent of jars you might find intact inside the ground, forgotten by time, from the wild west. That's how good this jar is.This jar is 100% glass, and there is nothing else, just glass. The seal is fantastic and has a nice feel when you open the jar. It makes you feel like a connoisseur!STOP HERE AND BUY! Bring YOUR wild of the west home! You won't regret it!I didn't get any money or bonuses for this review. I'm just a guy that was frustrated, looking for a good storage jar that will keep my perishables safe, and at the same time have the aesthetics of a beautiful glass jar. I found it, and want to say "Look here, I know there are hundreds of choices on Amazon. Don't hesitate. Buy this one!"I've been on Amazon for close to 10 years, and purchased thousands of items over those 10 years. This is my very second review. That should say something in regard to my opinion of these jars.

The glass is truly beautiful, much more attractive in person than in photos as displays don't really convey the true color of this jar. The interior is nice and dark, even in full sunlight it's roughly equivalent to a low-watt blacklight inside. Looks excellent in just about any room or decor style and the contents are practically invisible from the outside.But the most impressive thing is the lid. I expected some slight grind in the seal, glass on glass has to be a little rough, right? Wrong. The seal is smooth as silk, the lid practically guides itself in and takes zero pressure to form an airtight seal. The contact area is huge so there's little doubt that this will form an excellent seal.I have no complaints. It's not hand blown glass, but the lid is evidently hand-ground and fitted for a perfect seal. I can easily see this being in use for many years if not decades, as there are no plastic parts to wear out, just 100% top notch glass.

I love my infinity jars. They make my bathroom look sleek. The only downside to black bottles is that they show dust so require frequent cleaning if you like a tidy space.

It's decent for what it gets done on the pricer side. I returned mine to get something bigger

I have another vendor that sells their teas in the same ultraviolet apothecary jar (500ml) at lower cost (filled with high quality tea!), but I needed something smaller. The 250 ml was the perfect size for transport. The jar was packaged well and delivered quickly. I agree with all the positive reviews regarding the quiality and functionality of the jars. I would most likely purchase from this company again if I needed the smaller sized jars. ~Belinda Lim
