Good but some limitations
The main reason for the purchase was to control some remote Panasonic air conditioners, which control well and work well with Alexa But, if the remote air conditioners were turned on with their original remote control (ie they were not turned on with the application), they do not appear in the application as if they were on. In other words, in the application they are always reflected as turned off even if they were turned on with their original remote control. Based on the above, I have no way remotly of knowing if the air conditioner is on or off, if it was turned on from its original remote control. For the rest, it handles Air Conditioners, Televisors and Cable Boxes well. Just for you to be aware of this limitation, which I hope they will be corrected promptly.

works great! - Integrates with Alexa easily
Bought this to control my in wall A/C unit. It works very well, was easy to set up. It integrates well with Alexa and - Alexa responds to normal Fahrenheit based requests without issue. You can easily setup Alexa Routines to set temperatures when your normally home / away. The only down side is app is stuck in Celsius vs Fahrenheit for some strange reason; I have no idea why anyone would want that. The app also has no built in scheduling control but like i said you can do this easily inside of Alexa so its not a big deal. There are tons of pre-programed RF devices this works with, for the price i don't know why i waited so long to get one of these.

Easy installation, works with Alexa
This was super easy to install and since I already had the Smart Life app for my other smart plugs and bulbs, this was an easy transfer for me. It immediately worked with my Alexa since I have the skills enabled on my account.I didn't know that an IR blaster was a thing, but when I saw it - I purchased it just to try out. I didn't know I needed it until I started using it. I have it connected to my TV to turn on and off and also a set of LED lights I have with an IR receiver to change its colors and dim levels. It's good for those few items that don't have the Wifi capability to connect directly to Alexa.Since I have the Tv and all my lights connected under my 'living room', I have everything turn on through IFTTT when I pull up to my house which is nice. I feel welcomed as I walk in. This little gadget has helped me integrate more items in my home over to the smart house I've always wanted. Ever since seeing that Disney movie back in the day lol.Tip: When you get this and you plug it in. You may not have a blinking blue light to find it on Alexa or Smart Life. Best bet is to hold the reset button on the underside. You don't need a toothpick to hit it, you can use your fingernail to hold it easily. The wire that this comes with is not that long, so if you are looking to have it sit on a higher TV stand or far away from your power source, you'll have to provide your own USB wire that will reach or use an extender.

Not ready for primetime
I have a Panasonic Viera and the remote is going out (when you press the buttons it doesn't respond). I wanted to be able to control the TV with my voice to avoid the problem, so I ordered this IR blaster. Setup was no problem, but I was very disappointed in the matching process. The voice control doesn't work with Google Home except to turn the TV on and off (which a smart plug would do); the app frequently crashes (usually at the exact second my preferred program is coming on); often the app is unresponsive and has to be restarted. Because my main motivation for buying this was to control the TV with my voice, making the remote buttons not an issue, now I am constantly pressing the power button to turn the app on, using one button constantly instead of several occasionally. Emails to the company through their website for tech support went unanswered. It's going back in the box and will be given in a Christmas gift exchange. Perhaps someone with a newer TV or some smarter devices will appreciate it.

Works great with my fans and AC
It works great. I downloaded the app and ended up setting up 2 ir blasters. 2 indoor fans on one ir blaster and an outdoor AC for the 2nd blaster. The key to get this program quickly without issues is to plug in the puck and set it up right next to your router.I was having problems getting the 2 blasters to recognize and copy commands from my remotes until I took them next to the router.I am impressed how much they reach, all over the room and outside on a cover patio.I am extremely pleased I can now turn on the outdoor AC for my dog when it gets hot and I can turn it off when he gets out of his doggie house. Cant believe i waited this long to get one
