After blinding myself on video conferences with crappy lighting, I decided to spring for the Neewer ring light (I have some of their camera accessories and they've always been a good value). This ring light is a dandy and will likely get used for videos/still photography as well. A couple of caveats:1.) It draws a fair amount of current - I measured it in the 1.80 - 1.85A range depending on setting. If you plug this into an old 0.5A USB converter/hub, it will light up but will flicker (and may cause other peripherals to act strangely). Not a downcheck, but something to check.2.) There is a center mount for a camera holder that is included....and guess what? It's a 1/4-20 standard camera base thread, meaning you can mount a (reasonably light) camera right on the ring base. How cool is that? Wellll....almost. You'll need a very short piece of 1/4-20 threaded rod (hardware store or, as I did, cut the end off a bolt) to put them together. Neewer could really make a lot of friends if they'd add a few extra cents worth of steel.

Wonderful delivery on a ring-light for the price point ($20-$30) .. Great options regarding brightness and choices in light types. Portable ,foldable ,functional ,user-friendly and no concern for batteries dying out or being unavailable. Also the cord is not ridiculously short and it has a cute little remote. Came across this light when it was recommended by Youtuber Karina Garcia , And I agree with her it's perfectly functional to get by , if you don't need the best of the best or pricier at the moment. I'd also recommend this Neewer model.

A little salty I paid twice the price during quarantine but it's well worth the money. I love the settings and it does amazing for my job as a nail tech. The only think I don't like is that the base of it isn't sturdy/heavy enough to hold the lamp up when my phone is in it.I do wish the cord had a better design but it's nothing that can't be worked with.At one point I had thought the lamp had blown out, I was kinda upset sonce I only had it for about 3 months, so I emailed the company about it and they were great getting back to me in a timely matter. But luckily it was my USB block and not the lamp.

I needed to pick up a light to help my prospects see me properly on Zoom and I'm glad I went with this one.It has several different light modes with one of them being a more natural light that works fantastic on videoThe only thing I would update on it is giving it an extension neck so we can raise and lower the light ring.Other than that.. it works excellent and is highly recommended.

I bought this one because it isn't too tall. I can place it right behind my laptop when I'm having a meeting and it's the perfect height. I love that I can adjust the lighting from warm, to neutral, to cool and that I can make it brighter or dimmer. It doesn't get too hot. The only thing I'd say is sometimes it feels too bright, but that's what the dimmer is for, right? It was easy to put together. Seems sturdy. However, I've never attached a phone to it so I don't know how that would affect the stability.

Like others here, I have experienced this light seeming to have some kind of planned obscelense. The quality is fine when it works, but the components seem so cheap that they are planned to die right around the 12 month warranty mark.Mine just decided to not turn on one day at the 13 month mark. No damage, outlet fine, no movement on the device. It just randomly stopped working. Probably 3 weeks after the warranty expired.On its own - this could be a coincidence. But in aggregate with others - know that it seems planned. The parts are cheap and not meant to last much more than a year. Ugh. I would have expected this to last longer for the price. Try to find another from a reputable brand instead.

This item is worth the money and gives you enough light to apply your makeup, create video content and Lives on social media. The phone holder is steady using an IPhone 8 but anything heavier it may not work as well. Oh, it also saves space on your vanity especially if you’re working in a small space with all the makeup, etc. I would definitely recommend this item!

It’s official, I’m so in love! I’ve always wanted a ring light but my problem is I don’t have enough space to have a big light in the corner of my house. This sits PERFECTLY on top of my vanity and works for EVERYTHING! There’s days where it’s way to hot in front of my vanity because of my Impressions mirror but I can turn this lil bad boy on and vu-lah! No sweaty face while I get ready. Also I use this for good lighting for when I’m doing art, make some cool lil videos one time for the gram.It has 3 light settings, warm hue, Walmart lighting and then Apple lighting. You can also set it to what every 3 settings and also dim the setting as well.

Franchement je suis contente, l'anneau peut etre mit en avant comme en arrière après avec le poids d'un téléphone, pas sûre que le support soit assez lourd.

I have their large ring light and love it. This is perfect for doing makeup videos, classes, tutorials, photos. The ring light has a switch that controls the light settings and comes with a vertical phone clip that sits in the middle of the ring . The bottom is heavy enough donut won't fall over and the who le unit is sturdy and easy to assemble in minutes. I lovebitvand would really recommend this to anyone. Love it, great but.
