The Beginner's Guide to Kumihimo: Techniques, patterns and projects to learn how to braid

It a good book

Great book - includes everything.I have a lot of kumihimo books. If you are a beginner and want to start quick, this is ideal. HOWEVER... if you are experienced, it is wishlist good because it clearly covers many different styles of braids, and is therefore a great reference book. I recommend getting the paper version. The kindle version is good too, but it's easier to see the illustrations on the paper one. This book actually includes more detail in a shorter space than other books. Excellent.

I haven't used this yet, but in glancing through the booklet it looks to be easy to do.

this is the best book on kumihimo that I have ever read. understandable . I would highly recommend this the book to anyone who would like to try kumihimo.i can't say enough about how clearly the instructions are given..

Dorothy never wrote a bad book in my opinion. She knows her craft and loves it. It shows.

Great info however it is exactly the same as the chapter on Kumihimo contained in the book "The Knotting & Braiding Bible: The Complete Guide to Creative Knotting Including Kumihimo, Macrame and Plaiting" so you do not need to purchase this one if you get the other one.

the directions were easy to follow

This is a great little book. However, I borrowed The Knotting and Braiding Bible from the library and found that this book is contained in there in its entirety. Had I known this, I would have bought that instead. I wish publishers would be more transparent about things like this.

Excellent contents however no where in the description does it say that this is a print on demand book. The print quality was not as expected for a book by this publisher and the print on demand explains this. Also the printed price on the back of the book was less than the prime price from Amazon. Amazon have taken on board this comment from me. So, 5 stars for content but 4 for quality of printing.

Well set out and easy to use ,but you have to check that you have the same disk with the same numbers and letters as the one used in the book

Pleased with my first Kumihimo book lots clear and easy to follow pictures and instructions a must for Beginners of Kumihimo.

Great guide and exactly what I wanted and more. I recommend this highly for anyone who wants to learn kumihimo
