Beginning with a brief affiar with a student, she works her way up to an affair with a former professior, relaizing how much fun can be had on a college campus. Not one to act on her impulses, however, she becomes a Cyrano and instead helps her friends - a fellow massuese - attract the man's attaction. But this affair soon peters out when the man admits he has always been more attracted to Mary. Sheryl - Sheryl has decided that she only wants to date wealthy men. A small hitch is put in her plans, however, when she meets a handsome - though destitute - painter at a local art opening. He shows her what can be done with a bucket of paint, then surprises her even further when he turns out to actuall be independently wealthy. Karen - Karen has off and on dated the same man for many years. The two of them, however, have always cled their relationship is based more on lust than love. In order to prove this, they begin to date other people, but they find that, after all, they are best off with each other.
