Best investment in reverse osmosis system you can make!
Headline explanation. You are not dependent on city lines nor minimal pressure in those lines. You can slowly drain your swimming pool with this pump if need be. Secondly, this pump will reduce waste water ratio down by at least half! and this is coming from a person whose RO loop had a permeate pump in the system. No more annoying clicking noise and lines movement under pressure from the permeate pump which wasnt so bad up until I swapped it for this monster.I wouldnt take the negative feedback in here so seriously regarding the lack of instructions, for a fact we are living in digital age of information technology -IT- it should be logical that if you lack information you will head up to google and look it up. I did and here I'am. Did I need a rocket science or doctor's degree for it to work? Absolutely not! Just stop being so friggin lazy and dependent on everything, I mean, come on maaaan! Kick your common sense in for once and you'll find out that you're able to do impossible all by yourself. Now theres also another brand of these types of pumps, various rating for various RO systems per daily gallon maximum outputs. You dont want to overpower the system by getting stronger pumps hoping it'll reduce waste water ratio. Big nono, just dont even think about it. Though one thing here, other, more sound, brand pump is bursting after number of given months. This pump? No complain, at least for now.Should there be any mishap, rest assured an update will be posted on in here. Fingers crossed but so far, im very satisfied with this little gadget. I just wish I would of get this straight up with the system back in the days, and skip the permeate pump altogether.Oh, and I'm running this with the reservoir tank, the water output from 1/4" lines isnt something you can improve by much but is at least one third to one half faster compared to old setup and city line pressure of 60lbs. No leaks, hopefully there wont be any in the future either. Like stated earlier, any mishap will be posted in form of update. So far for the money? No wonder theres only 1 left in stock. GET IT WHILE YOU CAN!

Just died after a month.
The pump, while it worked did very well. Nothing fancy or special. It did it's job. Then, for no obvious reason, it just died. I did every level of troubleshooting I could, found nothing. I unfortunately waited too long and didn't qualify for a return.Stay away. Find a higher quality product.

Works perfectly.
Not sure why people can't figure out how it works. Pump works great, and after setting the pressure screw to make sure I was getting 80 to 85 psi everything works as it should. Maybe the bad reviews didn't know about the pressure screw, or had the pressure gauge on the inlet side of pump before it was compressed? 55psi in and now 85psi out.ProsSilent.Low power use.Auto start and auto stop.Safety low pressure switch to shut pump down if no water is ran to it.Cons.Only sign of it working is to feel if it's vibrating, or watch the pressure gauge. That's a pro to me, but it does vibrate a little. No instructions in the box for wiring or plumbing in the box.No extra wire for unit pressure sensors, I suggest using number 18 stranded wire, basically speaker wire.Must crimp on the included spade connectors to the wire you provide.Clicks on and off repeatedly till pressure lowers in the storage tank, then fully clicks on.

Turn your basic RO unit into a exceptional one
never again will I use a RO unit without a pump. I made a mistake trying to be cheap at first and bought a unit without one. This made my cheap unit perform perfectly. Yes its a retrofit but easy to do. I also put on a pressure gauge so I know understand the difference that constant pressure makes on the performance of a RO unit. Sorry my phots are not the best.. at least you know they are honest.

Works great
Only reason giving it 4 stars is because the instructions aren’t very clear on wiring and sensor placement, other than that maybe add in some extra wire to connect the sensors or disclose that no extra wire is included but performance wise no complaints at all

Works with the new GE GXRQ18NBN system
Quiet and easy to install. If you want to install it with the new GE GXRQ18NBN system, you will need to purchase two 3/8" to 1/4" adapters for the yellow tube. (see my uploaded installation diagram).Great price considering it includes both low-pressure and high-pressure sensors.

Poor quality and no easy tech support
First of all install directions are poor at best. You have to cut wires in wire it. After I installed the pump, it it would run but would not increase water pressure as expected. The company doesn't list a phone number on their website. Amazon sent me a wrong number. With a non working pump and no support I sent it back.
