These are great. While not cheap, good ones aren't and these are a good value compared to what I've seen in stores. I couldn't find my size in stores, so ordering was my only choice, unless I had them shipped to a store, then wait some more while they are cut. I could pay even more and have them custom made, but no thanks. I remember when mini blinds went in style, and then out. These replaced those in 6 minutes.These do have string holes, but not a privacy issue for me. They operate without cords as you'd expect with nothing to report there. The color is white. It's not snow white, more of a decorator white and match my white window frame color. They are heavy with thick, smooth finish slats (I measured at 2.6mm). They do not have a wood grain. The sun or late afternoon can give them a yellowish appearance, but it's the sun, not the blinds. They look ivory online, but they aren't; they're white.These don't claim to be room darkening, but due to the thickness, they do dim the room, but not sleepy-time dark maybe. I got mine from the second life program (open box) but it was in the original packaging and wrapped as new inside with everything included. I was so pleased I ordered 2 more in the same open box/return program. Only 1 of the 3 had a slight dent in the back of the top housing (the big rail with the mechanics inside), but was on the back and doesn't show. I'm not showing that pic because I don't want people to confuse it with brand new, even though the other 2 are like new as described.There was nothing wrong with my previous corded 2" blinds I already had, except the cords! I have cats and could tell you a true story that would rip your heart out, so I am very happy with these not having cords that can be twisted. They are modern, safe, good looking and one of those items that looks better in person to me, than it did online.

I'd say for the cost not a bad buy. I've always hated that my blinds were pink and we have green carper. I finally decided to do something about it. I wanted something i could do on my own and relatively inexpensive which this was.There were no instructions included but after dismantling my old one it was pretty easy to figure out how to put this one together on my own. The valence was a little longer than my window i trimmed it expecting to seat it within the window itself but it did not fit inside because my window wasnt deep enough. My recommendation is do not make adjustments to the valence until the end. Love the quality and fit of these blinds! The valance fits nicely, not short like other blinds I purchased. The tilt wand connector is metal, for long lasting.

Very happy. I've purchased 7 of these blinds in various sizes, and will eventually purchase more for the rest of the windows in my house.The mounting hardware is top notch. The provided screws may be a bit too long for some installations, but I'm sure almost everyone has some shorter screws lying around the house if they need them. The mounting brackets themselves are very sturdy and made of metal. The front of them flips up so you can insert the top of the blind, and then flip down and latch in place. They provide 2 types of clips that you can use to attach the valence. I used the smaller ones, which clip into the groove on the back of the valence and then slip over the metal top of the blind. The other clips "grab" the top and bottom of the valence and then attach to the blind the same as the smaller clips. The top and bottom of these clips holding the valence are visible.The blinds operate smoothly and feel nice and solid. They are pretty heavy as far as blinds go.Visually, they look much better than the cheap 1" mini blinds that they replaced.All 7 of the blinds that I received were in perfect condition when they arrived.

Our apartment came with broken blinds due to the last tenant having a cat, and was only worsened by our cat. Looks way way better than the mess on the right window. I will say, they were very difficult to install on my own; I typically have no issue setting up furniture and such by myself. If you’re struggling don’t be like me and insist you can still do it easily without your bfs help lol
