very good product!!
Very good product. If you need your vehicles wiring diagram, I suggest this website, very acurate:[...]Pros:-With older vehicle it's easy install. Just plug the wires where they need to go-system works well. I can't start my truck from 30+yards-I installed a month ago, no problems!!!-came with 2 keys-prompt deliveryCons-it comes with a pamphlet saying what each wire is called but that's it. Had to do more research to find out what some of the wires are so I can found out where they go on my vehicle-key seems kinda like a cheap plastic, I guess I expected it to be better built, but it still works fine.Overall, I'm extremely pleased with it. I was skeptical at first at how cheap it was, but if you install it right, it will work great!!A couple of tips:-ALWAYS disconnect the better to be on the safe side. At one point you do have to work with a 12v constant wire, so disconnect one of the posts from your battery to be safe.-plan out beforehand where your going to run the wires and put the module itself. As you can see in the picture I ended up with all these wires going different directions and ended up shoving all the wires in a disorganized fashion. Planning beforehand and mapping the best place to run the wires is really a great idea!!-If you get hung up, or need info on what wires are I found some info googling them, and I also watched a couple YouTube videos of people going into detail on the general info of wires most remote starts use.Hope this helped!!

Great system
Works great as long as it's wired right. I thought i got a faulty unit until i realized that the black/white wire on the harness for the brake and hoodlatch needs to be hooked to ground. After that it worked great. I like how close to OEM it seems. The horn only beeps with the panic button, no other time. For the DIYer to get the wiring diagram for your car check out bulldog security. They tell you not only the colors for the wires but also their exact location.

Have you never used Clifford?
I've always loved Clifford keyless entry, and remote start systems. I worked for an audio/security shop for years and we only used Clifford because of the simplicity and great function. I got this specific one for my Grandpa, and installed it on his E150 van, It worked really well. I'm glad I purchased this one instead of an equally priced viper system the buttons are bigger and more noticeable when pressed than any other competitor, which is good for my Grandfather.

Cheap garbage.
The remotes tend to go bad very quickly. My local car toys stopped carrying anything Clifford because they got too many complaints.Don't waste your money, get a real security system.
