Doesn't seem practical

What happens in the video is two guys lay down on the mat, and one guy reaches over and grabs a hold of an arm or a wrist, while the other guy waits for him. Then they take their time to create this perfect hold. There is almost no voice over narration, and after watching several holds, discovered that this video would probably not help me. I was looking for a way to react in the moment to defend myself or somebody else, with an appropriate strike or manoever. What happens here is just guys, in a mediative-like state, calmly creating wrestling positions. How can the information help someone in a fight? I don't know. This video did not answer that question for me. It really only deserved one star, but I gave it two because the author probably is a high level expert, but the video was not what I expected.
