Seller was great for both price and timely shipping, considering it arrived from USPS via UPS transfer. Item was easy to install and works great. Fixes an issue with low/no fill or F20 error code on Whirlpool Duet Steam washer.

This was ordered as a replacement part for our old Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer, Model WFW9600TW00. We had been getting the "F20" error code and the washer wouldn't add hot water (which was fine until we couldn't use the clean cycle). My husband put in the new valve assembly. He said the fit was slightly off and had to shove some stuff to the right in order to get it to line up in the hose ports, but bad enough to prevent it from being hooked up. This completely fixed our error code and was much cheaper than trying to hire someone to come look at the washer.

These days you don't know who makes what for who...I have a Kenmore Elite front loading washing machine as I have come to learn was made by Whirlpool. I was able to find this for a little less than 1/2 of what Sears wanted for the same part. It takes a little work and a little time but if you're willing you can save a few bucks. You still have to be careful to make sure what you are getting is a true OEM part and not an "OEM like" replacement. Not saying there's anything wrong with the "OEM like" but you don't want to overpay for an "OEM like" part when you can get a true OEM for less.

Works so far on my Kenmore. Easy to install. You do need torx drivers to remove the three screws for the washer top and one that secures the inlet valve. Finger remove the wires. Then use a set of pliers to remove the hose clamps and work the hoses off with fingers. No more pooling of water inside the front-load washer. I’ll have to watch longer since that seemed to be only an intermittent issue to begin with.

F20 error on our front load whirpool duet WFW9550WL00. Google searches suggested this and a few other expensive parts with no real certainty but this new part fixed. If water isn't really pouring in on the fill, this might be the part to replace. My fill rate was gradual in it's decrease over 3-5 years time so I didn't notice, but the water should really pour out of that spout on the top right if you look through the window. My water had slowed to a quieter pour that would only hug the window because it didn't quite have enough pressure.
