I found this book very helpful! A great reminder on fundamentals, plus some great points on the mental game. Will help players of all levels improve!

I have been away from the game for 40 years and I gained the information that I needed to ready myself quickly.

My confidence in becoming a competent pool player has increased dramatically with this book. The detail Author goes into regarding stance and stroke has given me clear fundamentals to practice over and over. I also downloaded his drills and am doing them.Currently skilled players are coming up to me and saying I have good technique, which simply is based on the book. Less skilled players are saying I'm "a natural" - not realizing I'm just doing what the book says.

Awesome book on playing better pool. It is well written, concise and helpful for expert or novice. I've been playing billiards at a high level for many years and I extracted nuggets from this tome that has improved my game. Focuses on the mechanics as well as the mental. Chock full of references to other books and websites for further readings. I highly recommend this well written manual on pocket billiards.

I got some really good tips to improve my game(I am recreational only) but the book kept referring to a practice booklet that was supposed to be included but was not. Disappointed by that

With the title of Missing Manual I was expecting to get some unpublished or at least little know insights into the game. What he provides is very, very basic. If you are looking for how to play difficult shots or even insight on effect of english, banks, caroms anything along those lines you can forget it. He doesn't even cover the number one mistake beginners make of lifting their heads before the shot is complete. I was very disappointed.
