Excellent, challenging math workbooks!
I love these books, both the multiple choice and the free response. They are quite challenging math problems that really require critical thinking, and a true understanding of the relationship between numbers. I am a homeschooling parent, and have used these books for 3rd grade and now 4th grade math. These books provide excellent practice especially in word problems across all topic areas. I highly recommend these books to other parents, both as a homeschooling resource, or simply for extra practice. One other thing I have noticed is that they might be slightly above grade level. Some of the topics covered in the 4th grade books do not appear in the Pearson textbook used by our local public school for 4th grade. This isn’t necessarily a problem, just something to be aware of if you’re using it for extra practice. Public schools and states operate differently though, so it might not be the case for others. Again, I highly recommend these books! My son is advanced in math and these books continue to strengthen and increase his math skills. The only minor complaint is that they aren’t particularly fun or creative, but we try to bring the fun by changing the names and objects in the problems. It’s not a big deal to me as a parent, but I know my kiddo would probably feel more excited to do these workbooks if they were a bit more dynamic and fun. All in all, excellent workbooks! I feel so fortunate to have found them as I began the homeschool process!

California Standards Aligned Friendly book
I highly recommend this book. On each page it has the California standard you are teaching and multiple student friendly problems for good practice. No overload, but just enough for classwork or homework. It has the answers in the back. If you create a free account, you can see or show your students/ child the videos that teach step by step how to solve the answer. It is my go to book. I use it for homework packets. Books like this are hard to find.

Great workbook.
I believe learning math requires a lot of practice but many other parents at the school loudly complain about too much homework for their overbooked children and the school gives very little. This work book will do - especially if the student already know what they are supposed to do and just need/want more practice. And the parents understand 4th grade math and can help if needed.I was sent a misprint, but Amazon replaced it with no questions asked. I am sure others will be fine. Adding photos for fun. I am taking a star, as this still shouldn't happen.

Very Helpful Workbook!
This workbook is so helpful for my son!The video explanations that go along with each worksheet are very detailed. They go over the questions at a reasonable pace and show the method used to solve the problem. The books themselves are matched perfectly with each grade level. There are enough worksheets per unit to make the information stick. My son will catch up his grade level in no time using these books. The only con is the pages aren't perforated for easy tear out. Other than that small caveat they're perfect.

Would highly recommend this book.
I have been waiting for a good math workbook for my child and finally I think we found a great one. My husband and I are very happy with the Multiple Choice workbook (we bought both workbooks.) MC Workbook contains lots of questions and they all include video explanations so my daughter doesn't have the excuse to say she doesn't understand a problem or she needs help. As parents we are very concerned with the common core as we do not personally agree with it, and learning the "common core" way is even more annoying. I hope they will change the standards soon but this workbook does contain common core questions. I was using Spectrum before, big mistake! Spectrum books are too easy, they have a bunch of addition and multiplication problems and think it is enough practice. Common core is way harder so please be aware. Would highly recommend this book.

It's Okay
Not really impressed with anything multiple choice when it comes to math. It's easy for the child to "guess" the correct answer when they are given multiple answers to choose from. I hope that one day publishers will come out with a book that actually shows the step by step process of solving mathematical question. This book is good for preparting a child how to take a math-related multiple-choice test but beyond that, you're on your own.

Super fast response from argoprep.com
Each page has 6 multiple choice questions. Not suitable as a main text, but if you are looking for additional practice in a format similar to standardized tests, this book is for you. The videos work through each problem on each page. The website is easy to navigate.I originally reviewed this book as 3 star and immediately went back and changed it to five star. I could not get the sound to work on my MacBook Pro. I received a response from argoprep.com in less than an hour!!! Then I discovered the problem was due to a setting on my computer and I was able to fix it myself. I really appreciated that SUPER FAST RESPONSE! I give them 5 stars for customer service.

Best book to use for 4th graders
I have been using Spectrum and Common Core Math 4 Today workbook over the summer with my after-school program kids. I wish I found about this workbook earlier because there are a few problems with Spectrum and Common Core Math 4 Today. Both books are too easy and provide very simple problems. This is a big danger because in schools kids are used to seeing many "wordy” math problems. This workbook on the other hand provides very good problems that kids are likely to encounter on exams. There is not a lot of space in the Multiple Choice or Free Response workbook but the content is spot on. I wish the book did have more word problems, it seems fraction heavy since the exam does heavily focus on fractions. Also including video explanations is a brilliant idea. Definitely my top pick for a math workbook for 4th graders.
