3 in 1 Basecoat 5L

The media could not be loaded.  I was skeptical, but thought I would give this a try as the existing plaster was smooth, just had wide areas of hairline cracks and some dark painted patches. A reskim seemed excessive but knew if I had just painted over this with normal paint, these would still show through. I proceeded with the experiment as it could possibly save me quite a bit of money.I went over with normal filler for the 'bigger' cracks and the used this. This paint exceeded my expectations. Just one good coat and it was all covered and nothing showing through. It had my builders working in the bathroom next to me quite suprised as well. I don't leave many reviews, but seemed worth recommending as could save you a lot. I got nearly 40 sq m coverage from my 5 litre tub.

I needed a first coat on new plaster. This did the trick. I could only buy a big size - so it was an expensive job.

Sealed the wall well...make sure you sand down any filler before you apply this or you won't be able to after it dries!!. Didn't ' fill' irregularities quite as well as I'd hoped and dried patchy. I shan't be bothering with it again.

Works well although a few coats were needed to paint over bright orange paint!

Excellent packaging and tin was perfect. We have used this in one of our bedrooms and we are so happy it filled hairline fractures and tiny holes and was a thick good quality undercoat. We can definitely recommend this 3 in 1 undercoat and to be honest we wouldn’t use anything else. It brings up the colour perfectly once the colour was complete it was smooth easy on and looks fantastic. I think it enhances the actual colour on top. It’s a must have for a professional look.
