Great watch!
I really don't understand the 1 star review above. The same review word for word is on another Traser watch. I'm suspicious it's a competitor.I was looking for another band for my Traser watch when I thought I would write this review. The rubber tears after about 4 years.I've had this watch for 15 years or so. I've used and abused it to no end. It still keeps perfect time and while the glow has faded over the years, it is still perfectly useable. The top has very fine scratches that can only by faintly seen when reflecting light on it. Otherwise it is truly scratch resistant as all these years of rubbing against sand and rocks when camping etc hasn't made it an eyesore. The edge of the bezel is slightly worn just softening the white on the top of the numbers. But, all numbers are perfectly readable.I still get compliments on this watch every so often. It's a cool looking watch that looks solid and functional.I highly recommend this watch. It's well worth the money. When I bought it I got it for the look. I never thought it would last so long and be the only watch I'd wear for 15 years!

Buyer Beware!
I purchased this watch a couple of years ago...the tritium coating on the illuminated portions of the watch have faded into nearly nothing with regards to illumination.I sent the watch to Universal Watch Repair, Traser's official repair shop. They wanted $168.00 plus shipping to replace the failed illuminated components.Traser won't cover them, despite their bragging on their websites that the illumination is guaranteed for ten years. They say that it is normal for the illumination qualities to fade and that my watch, which has no illumination left in it, is normal per their guidelines.Interesting that the authorized repair place said all the tritium parts needed to be replaced, but Traser would not honor their warranty...Buyer beware! My friend's, far less cool Timex watch has out performed this watch at far less the cost...this is very sad to me.Very Disappointed!

Reliable and solid - despite abuse
I love this watch. I have had it for 2 years now, and despite rough treatment (I work offshore) it is still looking pretty good. If I needed to replace it, I would probably treat myself to the next model up with the sapphire glass, as I have a couple of scratches on the current one. My kids are fascinated by the glowing markers, which are surprisingly bright and very effective. It also keeps very good time despite the wide temperature range mine suffers. Well worth the price.
