Lots of fun.
Directions missing a few steps but it’s obvious what to do.

Nice….but
The zipper length for the bunting is inaccurate on the back of the pattern envelope . It reads 30” BUT should be 20”. 30” would go down the bunting and 1/2 way up the back. So caution when buying the notions

Everything Baby Needs
Pattern set includes everything a baby needs. From pajamas, blanket to mittens. All clothes patterns come are multi sized (newborn-L). I traced the desired size onto lightweight cardboard so the tissue pattern can be reused/saved. Easy to follow sewing and cut directions for all projects. Will be making a complete set of infant items for one-of a kind gift sets. (Burp cloth pattern not included-but its a simple rectangle).

AGGGGHHHHH!
I was in high school back in the early 70's - at the time the public school system offered classes such as tailoring, advanced home ec, arts & crafts (knitting, rug making, crocheting, needlework). I made a lot of my own clothes and the one thing I remember was that Butterick patterns were challenging to make. The patterns were fine it was the directions that were atrosious. Guess what? For me, 40 years later, Butterick still has not been able to do what Simplicity does - make directions & pictures that reflect the actual piece of design that you are holding in your hand. I made two bunting outfits for a very dear friend who was welcoming a granddaughter. After I gave them to her, I begged her to find another pattern company if she wanted more bunting outfits made or she would have to find something else for me to sew for her. I contacted Butterick to ask them for more directions and you know what they replied? They SAME instructions that the pattern called for!! When I replied that I clearly understood what the pictures and the text said, but they didn't describe and show how they got to a certain point with the collar that I needed to understand, you know what they replied? NOTHING. NO MORE BUTTERICK FOR ME! :)
